ESPN's Ed Werder reports Richard Sherman has torn ligaments in his elbow

I remember one in particular with Tedy Bruschi (can't remember where or when though) where it looked like his knee bent 90 degrees in the opposite way it's supposed to, and he didn't even limp afterwards. It was unbelievable. The difference there was that he clearly dodged a bullet and didn't get hurt. Sherman 100% DID get hurt, so it's about recovery speed now.
I like any advantage for the Pats but as real football fans we all just want to see both teams at 100 pct so theres no excuses.

Nobody cared when Gronk was a decoy in 2011 against the Giants. They could cart Sherman out there and make him play on a post-surgery scooter and I wouldn't feel any less about a win.

Can't disagree

Destroy him Brady

Jerod Mayo's not walking through that door...

I consider myself a real football fan, and I don't give a **** if Thomas or Sherman are healthy or not. Nobody's wasting time pitying the Pats for their injuries.

I still for the life of me can't figure out the Easley pick.

Think of it as a redshirt year. When you're picking in the late 20s or worse every year, there are only a couple of ways to get blue chip talent. The best is to take a shot on an injury risk. Sometimes you get Dowling, sometimes you get Gronk.

I guess but 2014 draft was loaded at WR and I think we missed the boat at getting a true #1 that would've really helped more than a reach for Easley IMHO.

Hate the disagree button so I'll disagree here instead. What don't you like about the pick? Give it a little time and I think we may really like this pick. Can't judge it based on a partial season.

I know. Most of us thought Collins was a bust a year ago as well...

Not saying Easley can't make it, just wish we had that #1 WR that could give Brady a better vertical game and take some heat off Gronk. Pats haven't had that guy since Moss.

Outside of Beckham, Evans and Watkins who would of you chosen with all confidence ahead of Easley?

He's the "fell through the cracks because of...../Boom or bust" pick that BB usually waits for the second round on. I'd rather have seen him get a player to help for this past season, but the kid does seem to have potential. Will he be Gronk? Will he be Ras-I Dowling? Will he be (as is most likely) somewhere in between? Only time will tell.

Richard sherman made a leaping interception in practice today. I'm mot sure his injury is as bad as everyone thinks.

Well aren't we the negative nancy...

Point taken man. Hopefully we get a game to remember with the highlight being Brady hoisting the Lombardi
