Blount is an interesting player. He's been an NFL journeyman in his 5 year career despite his high level 4.6 career ypc. We let him walk after 2013 for relative peanuts despite his 5.0 ypc and what looked like to be our best RB. The Steelers signed him instead, cut him, and once again he fell in our laps for peanuts in 2014 and 2015. He immediately regained the starting role and was a key in the AFCCG.

Blount is a strange RB. At times he seems useless and at other times he's a stud. He has elite qualities (his YPC and yards after contact) but has struggled to keep a starting job anywhere he goes.

Question: Do you see him as a key in the SB with a big role like vs. Indy or a nonexistent role like vs. the Ravens? Also, do you see him as our starting RB in 2015?

The Seahawks' pass D is too good to go one-dimensional on them like we did with the Ravens. With the Ravens, we went all pass because Melvin, in particular, was just that bad. Beating the Seahawks will require a much more versatile offense, and with back I think we have the personnel to at least to try do it.

I want him here for a few years. I want him to start. When he's going, he's an elite rb

I expect Blount to have a good game. The last 2 games Seattle has given up 132 yards and 135 yards. That isn't going to be enough to beat them though.

To beat them you need to be able to both run and pass fairly well. Passing on them is easier said than done.

I think he will be back next year and maybe be the lead. Though to me i would rather do it as a committee.

I love the guy, he is misunderstood and is extremely impulsive. BB knows how to handle him, he thought the Steelers were cool and now he knows the better.
I just hope he get something decent before it gets too late. BB should do him good next season. I know he will put up a performance this Super Bowl.

I like Blount but if a stud RB is available in the draft, I have no problem with the Patriots upgrading the position.

Blount ridley vereen bolden and white is a very good group. Keep them all together for next 3-4 years please.

Any room in there for Gray?

I want NE to go with the bigs : Blount and Gronk for the SB. I want Blount to break tackles and help the team win the game.

It will seem harsh, but I am perfectly ok if he helps the team win on Sunday and then NE moves on from him. If they feel the numbers work for 2015, so be it. I see Blount as dangerous. Dangerous to opponents on the field when he is motivated. But, also dangerous to any team that offers him a longer contract... is Blount the type of guy you can trust for even three years ? BB would know better than me, but I'm ok if he is no longer with the Patriots after February.

Blount is under contract for next year. Ridley and Vareen aren't.

I like the idea of letting Blount and Gray just wearing out the Seahawk's D. Let the O-Line go on the attack.
