So as my friends favorite argument other than #peegate is "the Colts balls stayed the same" even though I've given them all the best and logical explanations...filled to higher psi, "stayed within range" etc. how about we start to ask the question..."so how DID the Colts balls defy Mother Nature"? Simple question should have a simple answer no? Can we flood the airwaves with this question? Email the media, tweet, whatever. I want to know how the Colts "cheated" the laws of physics! Answer that Mort!

I can think of two possibilities offhand. Their footballs were overinflated so deflated and remained in regulation range or they were inflated in cooler conditions so did not lose pressure.

They did not stay on the field long enough. LoL, less exposure to the cold and the rain

This is what Kraft needs another press conference, have a MIT guy and the headsmart video. Leave it with we have no idea how the Colts balls managed to not deflate. That would change the entire story and focus from the Patriots to the Colts. Let them try and explain why they did not.

Third possibility - the Colts tampered with their balls after they were inspected and passed by the refs. They topped them off before they were re-inspected.

they arrived on a bus, they were in the cold, so when they were tested they had been in tested after they had been delivered at outside temps.

Also nobody knows what they were tested at.

Yup! This is a way to turn this around from the Pats to the Colts and will hopefully force the media to ask and answer this question, the League to leak out some more stories and start speculating the other side. Expose those lying liars!

Same thing we did in the 2nd half, fill it with air at equilibrium with the outside.

The biggest scandal here is our education system. How in the world did we end up with such stupid journalists?

Then THAT WOULD be cheating as the rules state a team cannot alter the balls after they've been inspected and approved by the officials. If the Colts and not the refs re inflated the balls then they ARE cheating!

Hmmm....maybe that attendant wasn't taking a leak or deflating Pats game balls, but....over inflating Colts ball!! 90 seconds...totally enough time for sure! :)

Their ball boy didn't go into the bathroom with the balls

fill a ball in 50 degree weather and leave it in 50 degree weather and guess what happens.... nothing.
Very possible, most likely...now let's get the media to start pumping this on the airwaves as the explanation since non of them seem capable of thinking for themselves.

Its as simple as this people.

That's equally plausible.

Stupid? Or lazy and self-serving? I tend to think its more the latter.

If the Colts were not inflated and inspected while cold then something's fishy here and there needs to be an investigation.

Either they were overinflated beyond specs (which is illegal), or they tampered with their balls after the first inspection.
