Too Funny: Curran Corners Kensil

just look at media day the only people that care about deflate gate is ESPN and FOX if we stop talking about it. it will go away

It's not going to go away just because Patriots fans stop talking about. We're representing a very small percentage of NFL fans, even with more than most teams it's probably only about 10 percent at most.

I agree. This is why it's hard to know what the hell to believe.

We're getting both extreme sides of the spectrum, with very little realistic information in the middle.
Really, it's not that hard to know who to believe. BB, TB and Kraft are the only ones who have anything to lose. I believe them.

We could easily come up with a list of about 100 names who have voiced their opinion on the Patriots guilt.

It's sad.
I already started one, it's on the page on the link in my sig. It's probably pretty close to 100.

I'm grasping

You know what's grasping? Thinking a ball attendant hitting the head for 90 seconds to take a leak before heading to the field is proof that he deflated 12 balls.

Everything rests on the PSI of the balls.

Well, with Roger Goodell changing the rules back in 08 to have a much lower standard of proof needed for punishment, I still believe that we're going to be screwed no matter what. Obviously hope I'm way off.

You know that, and I know that---but the high majority of the population claims that it's plenty of time, especially if the balls were in a mesh bag where he didn't have to take each one out individually.

I mean if we're being honest, obviously he could've let some air out, but that's dependent upon a lot of factors like how many balls, the amount of time spent on each ball, and how much air was specifically let out. Hopefully they find that there's just not enough solid proof to justify punishment.

Again though, Goodell brought all of this up back in 2008 when he claimed that the burden of proof for wrong doing needed to find guilt was going to be much, much less now with him in charge.

Why does it have to be a sting? Why cant it be random prick with grudge in position of power decides "i dont want that A-hole Belichick in the superbowl, lets see if he and his team can deal with this **** in the middle of a game"?

Maybe you are right. So this all boils down to jealously?

Wasn't Goodell at kraft's house on Sunday night after the afccg?

If he was on it talk about a conflict of interest
Actually, it was the night before the AFCCG, which in my opinion makes him even sleazier. So, he was at Kraft's house with his wife, eating, drinking and schmoozing with Kraft all the time knowing about the ambush planned for the next night. What a prince and worthy leader. Now, we all know why he pissed his pants in that picture with Kraft and his squeeze...

I am getting burnt out on these Twitter rumors. But Kensil on the Colts' sidelines isn't even news.

I don't think this is going to happen.

Things have gone so far now with Brady being called a liar that any punishment, even $5, is going to validate the smear against Kraft and the Patriots. I well know that the smear will last forever, but to have it validated by the NFL is quite another thing. It is simply a red line for Kraft.

So he hurried through this knowing that the league was going to suddenly crack down on ball pressure?

This has gone from ridiculous to beclowning.

No matter which way the NFL "investigation" or the SB end up, something needs to be done.

The saddest thing to me is seeing fans who are talking seriously about leaving the NFL and/or the Pats over this.

Bingo!!!

The NFL went into this believing the Patriots are guilty. Now the task for Ted "leaky" Wells is to try and find enough dots to connect. Why do you think he needs weeks???
My advice to ANY and ALL Patriot employees is to tell the truth and then sit tight. Once the NFL comes out with their "story board", if any Patriot employee is implicated they should immediately make a public offer to take an FBI sponsored lie detector test.

It's the NFL league office that is the rogue agent in this story and not to be trusted.

Robert Kraft sent a shot across their bow last night.
The Patriots will carry on this fight if need be.

It's kinda ****ed if you think about it. Even though I think Ben and the Saints were both guilty I don't think there was enough proof to bag either of them. Owners need to put an end to this non-sense. What are the positives to not firing Goodell?

Unfortunately this is correct.

The way this entire process has been manifest is a hatchet job of the highest order. But then again, I expect nothing less from the NFL as it is currently run right now.

All the NFL had to do was fire a warning shot before the Colts game that due to complaints from other teams, the balls better be at the correct psi or else...

IIRC this is what they did (if that) with the Vikings-Panthers heating footballs on the sideline during the 2014 regular season...

But because it is the New England Patriots, and the head coach is Bill Belichick, and they have 9 AFCCG appearances, 6 Super Bowl berths, 3 Lombardis, etc. etc. the NFL decided to treat this differently and now it has turned into a clusterfcuk.

Why does it have to be a sting? Why cant it be random prick with grudge in position of power decides "i dont want that A-hole Belichick in the superbowl, lets see if he and his team can deal with this **** in the middle of a game"?

I don't think the background process matters......this thing appears to becoming so screwed up that the owners are going to ask the question 'WTF are you clowns doing?' they don't care about grudge......they only care about their franchise not being hung out to dry......they are huge investments and if someone starts pulling incompetent crap like this adversely affecting the value of the brand, they will be gone fast

So....if Goody is in on it how does this get resolved with Pats winning? Overthrow? The rest of the owners can't possibly approve of this can they?
