Marshawn Lynch vs Pats

Fair point but Marshawn does everything as a RB well, his cutbacks are nasty for someone of his size and the SOB can even play like a receiver just to rub salt in the wounds.

I hate the idea of keying in on someone and forgetting other playmakers (unless we're talking about Revis covering) but i think doing the most to stop Marshawn and making Wilson beat us with his arm sounds like the way to go because if Tom is able to put up points then you're asking him to do stuff he never does and that's go away from the run and throw for 300/350+ and multiple TD's.

Yeah no way I'm saying it will be an easy task cause it won't. I'm worried if they sell out to stop lynch those roll outs will be there for Wilson, where he's at his best when getting outside the pocket. It's like pick your poison for the pats D.

I'm rolling with taking out Lynch all day long, Wilson showed me he's susceptible last week and his receivers are garbage no matter how they want to sugar coat it. The ending was GB choking and Wilson admittedly making great throws rather than his receivers doing anything out of the blue.

Plus don't forget we have the most athletic LB without question in the league to spy on him in Collins, no chance he's getting away from anyone with the way Collins covers ground.

Lynch does most of his damage on the edges against lesser tacklers at defensive back.

It is imperative that the Patriots edge players set that hard edge, and funnel him into the maws of the front seven.

I could see using Chandler Jones and/or Ninkovich as OLB in hybrid 3-4/4-3 fronts using a controlled rush/edge setting role. Or the defense could use another big DT like Siliga and Branch and keep Jones on the line while Ninkovich lines up at OLB in a 4-3.

Regardless of what they run, the fronts will be multiple and the focus will be on setting the edge consistently to leave no quarter for Lynch and Wilson to get outside the tackles.

Lynch is probably the best rb in the game right now (with AP out), he has that rare blend of physicallity and quickness. I really think that BB will gameplan to stop Wilson. I think he wants to stop the read option and contain wilson in the pocket.

Lynch is almost right up against the 30 year old wall. Should be interesting to see how long he keeps this level of play up.

If he's not slowing down now then i don't see it for the foreseeable future, genetic freak like AP.

Is his contract up because i'd love for us to steal him for Pete.

I think you can throw out those prior stats. He seems to be running with a lot more . . . um . . . "power" now.

Clearly the source of this "power" is the performance-enhancing Skittles...

Wilson will see a lot of this and no doubt they are dissecting these kind of plays in the Seattle OL room to try and figure out how to slow down Collins bursts

I think they use him in a smart way. Limited number of touches and mostly in the 4th qrt.

High playing spy and the DL protects the middle will do it.

He is the toughest RB in the league to bring down IMO. I think it will be a huge challenge for the D.

well .. if you ask Heath Evans, Pats have no chance of stopping "Beast Mode" .. Ask him, he will tell you he watched all the Pats film on running plays this year ..

why did the Bills gave up on him again?

How did we hold him to just 41 yds in 2012? Was it Spike?

I hope we dont spy like we did newton last yr. He broke of soem big runs ..i guess a lot of them due to missed tackles.

Yes. Go back and watch that game. Spikes was tremendous in the running game.

With that said, Belichick worries about what he thinks will beat him. Against Indy it was Luck and I don't think he thought their running game would beat the Pats. I do think that he thinks the Seattle running game could beat him and he will act accordingly.

He had some injury issues and some off the field issue as well (guns and cars maybe) and was suspended.

They had Freddy Jackson and he sort of fell out of favor became more of a hassle than he was worth. Also it was widely known he hated living in Buffalo (I am from Rochester NY btw)

How can I get to watch the game? I can't find it.
