Zolak - Patriots think the league has NOTHING

I'm not even sure where to put these anymore. Mort is on WEEI claiming he's been told the Colts like their balls inflated on the lower end like the Pats. Also stated when asked about the 2psi he reported compared to the 1 psi Florio mentioned that he asked his sources if anything he reported originally was wrong and they said no.

He also sounds like he's getting pretty heated about all of this.

I wanna know who it was that said to Brady 'look into the camera, and tell the people who think you are a hero'....................I wanted to b*tch him, but didn't know who it was.

I'd love someone to say that to Mort.

Additionally, footballs are difficult to handle, bounce funny when dropped and its tough to hold onto multiple balls without dropping them. Hard to imagine he could do all that in a tiny room without dropping any balls, getting them mixed up, etc. The whole thing is ludicrous.

I did like that reporter who praised Belichick and then got offered a job. Total homer, I know.
Seriously, didn't that reporter say he was from Brazil?? He sure wasn't an American mediot.
Gisele's brother maybe?? :D

The balls were inflated to the correct pressure before they left the locker room, various studies by scientists have proven that this could happen.. see any thread that is authored by PalmBeachPats Fan...

Many of us here think that this was a sting by the NFL, as apparently the Colts complained 11/16.. Goodell and his inner circle were looking for that Gotcha moment, so they played it out in the Championship game.. they fell flat on their face. Why they did not do it sooner is befuddling..

There is no evidence that the pats have been doing this for awhile, PSI in balls vary according to the temperature..

Maybe Indy because of this sting, over inflated their balls to compensate for the anticipated loss..
Yes this. If it can be demonstrated, (and it has by several experiments linked on his forum) that footballs indeed do loose pressure similarly to what the pats footballs did then the mediots are asking the wrong question....they keep asking if that's true then why didn't the Colts balls loose pressure?...as if that fact dispels the scientific evidence. They should be asking, since it's true that balls loose pressure, then what did the Colts do so that theirs didn't show any loss?

Guilty until proven innocent. I am ready to deport Stephen A. Smith to North Korea!!!!!!!

Just fyi- a friend of mine called me to say that Stephen A Smith came out yesterday with a very strong defense of the Patriots. And he specifically mentioned it was Smith because he knows I haven't been a fan of him in the past.

1. His sources are crap
2. If the Colts balls were inflated to the same psi as the Pats then either they were cold to begin with or the Colts tampered with them later. The physics is not optional, probable or any other thing than absolutely required by the natural universe

The cynical among us might think that the league's "investigators" might be massaging their yet unrevealed official starting psi figures.

The thing that most people are glossing over is the starting temp of the Colts balls. The mediots really are dumb.
Edit: I'm not infering that the Colts intentionally refrigerated their balls, coming off the bus as opposed to being in the stadium they would naturally be colder. This isnt rocket science people!

Nothing? Idk about that. 90 seconds in the bathroom? I mean, that MAY be enough time to take a piss and wash your hands thoroughly but I'm not convinced. At the very least it leaves room for investigation.

Forgive me guys, but this is a slightly OT. I have a few questions that I am not sure have been asked here. Perhaps it was mentioned in the other 900 threads on this subject, but I don't feel like going through all of them. Anyway, I just have a few questions.

If I have the story correct, the balls were under inflated before the game, and then at halftime the refs had the balls inflated to the proper PSI.

Is the normal procedure for every game? If so, why would the Pats go through the trouble of deflating the balls if the refs are going to inflate them back to proper PSI in the 2nd half. In other words, the Pats would only get the so called advantage for the first half.

2nd, if the Colts complained about it after the 1st meeting, wouldn't the league give the Pats a heads up about the complaint. If they did, you would think the Pats would be extra cautious in the 2nd meeting. No?

3rd, if this is something the Pats have always been doing awhile, wouldn't a ref who checks the balls at half say something to the Pats in prior games.

This to me is a big nothing burger story, that is fueled by jealousy and hate. Pathetic!
You are incorrect. The balls were inflated per NFL regulation till Brady's ball boy took possession of the 12 balls and deflated them per Tom's instruction.

was it Borges?

If the league had proof of tampering, they wouldn't be in full blown denial mode like this. Makes sense.

Both the NFL and Pats have taken some big shots at each other in the media. I mean the Pats had to fire back, they couldn't just sit back and take it this time. But I wonder if they chill out a bit now till after the SB?

I think my dream scenario right now is something like "BREAKING NEWS: Several unidentified owners are upset at NFL/Colts/Ravens for clear defamation. Believe Pats are innocent, want ball issue dropped.

I cant dream right?! I don't think I want this to go away anymore.. I want revenge. I want the people and organizations that are behind this to pay.

Here's the deal...every morning at work I put my oatmeal in the microwave for 90 seconds. The bathroom door is within 6 feet of the microwave. After starting the microwave, I walk into the bathroom, piss and wash my hands. When I am exiting the bathroom, the microwave is going off....exactly 90 seconds. There is the proof that's all you can do in 90 seconds in a bathroom

It bothers me that this is framed as Kraft and the Patriots think the NFL has nothing on them so they are safe in fighting back. It makes it sound like they ARE getting away with something.

But what if they are defending themselves because they're innocent. That's what innocent people do. Call me naive but I think it's the latter.

During Brady's interview, I noticed the SuperBowl logo looks more and more like a middle finger extended to the Media...
