Apparently Leland auction house estimates the football that Dowell Jackson intercepted that started Deflategate could fetch $50,000 at auction.

I wonder how much it would fetch if they can get Mike Kensil to autograph it.

Not sure if this has been posted from PFT quoting Mike Westoff who thinks Pats are not guilty this time, but are guilty of a lot things including clock violations. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the Refs also in charge of the clock?

So somebody at work the other day told me that the NFL found a video a day after the AFC championship that proved the Patriots "cheated." Of course, I'd never heard this. I entertained him and asked him what he was talking about. He said it was a video of one of the Patriots deflating balls on the sideline.

Now my question is, where the fudge are people getting this stuff? Or do they just make it up on their own?

They make it up I suppose.

I get a news brief every morning (part of a class, don't ask) and under sports we were briefed that Bill Belichick was quoted as saying "He promises swift justice to whoever deflated the footballs."

Quote from thin air. Unfortunately this was a one way brief, so now everyone at the brief thinks that's true.
