Elliot Harrison and Gil Brandt have ranked the Superbowls from 1 - 48 with commentary Here is the beginning of the ranking of the 2001 Super Bowl

10. Super Bowl XXXVI - New England Patriots 20, St. Louis Rams 17

"Spygate" has marred what was an exciting contest. New England halted the unstoppable Rams -- a.k.a. "The Greatest Show on Turf" -- in perhaps the greatest team victory in Super Bowl history...

How can the media be so stupid. Tomase's article is believed by even those who propose to be football experts on the NFL own site in the lead post.

"Common Man..."

Or maybe they're not stupid, and instead just know everyone else is.

This is yet another prime example of how people are going to continue to spread nonsense for 15+ yrs down the road, which is why this current situation is nothing but a lose-lose proposition.

Basically, the media's reply to everything now is it's okay to be lazy, not fact check, lie, sensationalize, and state unsupported opinions, since the Patriots are repeat offenders and have brought this upon themselves.

UnbeF@@@@believable !
Yesterday watching NFL network they were very careful about "balls" I was impressed.

bspn today front page, nothing about toilets , only video zoning in. Guess its not a "reliable " source WC info ie

There is also an article on ESPN about Kraft speaking up for Belichick and Brady - basically a hit piece.

Don't know why I read it, but reading it basically tells me a) to take Spygate and everything associated to it at face value and to be one of the worst things ever, b) BBs press conference must have been some kind of crazy guy embarrassing himself, c) Bradys press conference either didn't happen or we already concluded that he lied, d) Krafts relationship to Goodell definitely is something that needs to be looked at and e) the deflation of footballs was actually giving the Pats an advantage and ESPN hopes the Super Bowl will be played with properly inflated balls.
What is going on with these people?

ESPN has some ultr-serious hatred for this team. It's like an obsessive jihad. I'd love to know what's actually at the root of it all. It would be one thing if a certain reasonable percentage of their people fell into the anti-NE camp, but it seems to be close to 100%, with Bruschi seemingly a sole exception. It suggests a systemic, all-encompassing, pervasive mindset.

They just changed headline on espn nfl page . Same story Kraft PC but changed from "you better be right" (meaning Or else) to the more mild "Pats owner goes on the offensive". And nothing about Florio report yet...while glazer still there

We're on to Seattle. /thread

C'mon, man: That's ridiculous.

No way in Hell they ever stop spreading their sewage around. :p

Hey: Screw'm.

01 ~ Every Honest & Honorable man and woman, simply because they are Honest & Honorable, will, without exception, recognize that the Patriots have not only been then as they are now the Standard Bearer for How It Should Be Done, but that we got hosed in 2007 by the same vermin that're trying to hose us now.

02 ~ And anyone stupid enough to believe that crap in 2007 or this crap now is, by virtue of that Belief, too evidently and demonstrably stupid or dishonest or consumed with bitter Jealousy ~ and probably all 3 ~ for me to ever give a rat's @$$ what they think about anything, much less our beloved FootBall Team.
