If Florio is right, and Goodell pulled a sting and didn't tell Kraft about it, then Goodell really might be toast.

It would have to a REALLY bad revelation for that to happen. Think about it: Kraft has been backing this guy 100%, but now he's going to force him out because of a slight against his team? That looks bad, so unless there's clear evidence that Goodell went out specifically to set them up, I doubt he is disciplined in any way.

He really has been backed into a corner. But he could have avoided it by nipping this in the bud. No obvious way for Goodell to come out ahead in this. Even full disclosure of a Kensil witch hunt would damn him.

Image is everything. The perception will be what it is, and Kraft knows that. He needs to be careful how this goes down if so.
