Its been the storm of a lifetime or century for the last twenty years. i think they hype these storms up to make $$$$$$. the weather dude/dudet says it the storm of century so people now tune in the station makes $$$$ off advertising. then everyone goes out and buys food, batteries, snow blowers, shovels, salt water etc etc etc. the super markets and hardware stores make out like bandits.
I will be less worried when my wife gets home. She has another hour then she comes home. Once she is home, this storm can drop as much snow as it wants. My wife safely home and no powerless. Thats all im praying for.
ya but 30 inches is a **** load of snow. you dont have to hype 30 inches. i think im gonna cry.
thats not the point, the point is they call Every major storm the storm of the century, or an historic storm, or storm of a life time. i live through the storm of the century about half a dozen times at least since 1992, my first storm of the century. never mind all the 'historic storms' ive been through.
