For Eight Days, The NFL Leaks, But Will Not Comment = The Fix is In

This is a smear campaign.

After Spygate the league knows that even the suggestion that the Pats did something improper will be permanently etched in the minds of the vast majority of Americans.

Football has been my favorite sport since 1995. After this fiasco, I might be done with it. SMH.

Folks, this is what is happening.

"No Comment" from the league is not an option at this point..

Ben Volin ✔ @BenVolin
Ted Wells, leading the #DeflateGate investigation, says he expects it to take "several more weeks."

I hear that R. Stokoe Goodell has hired a dance coach to prepare him for his annual "state of the league" press conference at the Super Bowl.

Look, I can understand a 'no comment" during an investigation.

However, a '"no comment" during an investigation that has had an official source leak for 8 days straight?????

Friends, I held on for 8 days and wanted to believe that there would be a truthful conclusion to this, but the fix is in.

It's over.

Kraft what are you doing? Put an end to this **** NOW! How can the rest of the owners allow this? If this can happen to Kraft could happen to anyone. Giants and Ravens easily could have had huge penalties for faking injuries If anyone cared enough.

This is ********. Several more weeks? They've let the Patriots be condemned and crucified without comment due to their systematic leaks. They are trying to sink us. We better win this f'ing game. I'm pissed.

If the NFL came out on day one and said "Slightly underinflated balls? Who gives a ****, we've got a Superbowl to prepare for" this wouldn't have lasted a day.

But, but, the "integrity" of the NFL is at stake!

You know, the kind of integrity that involves leaking stories to the press, lying about the Ray Rice situation and employing people who openly root against a particular team.

Ted Wells
, who is leading the investigation into the Patriots' deflated footballs from the AFC Championship Game, has issued a statement on the status of the review.

"We are in the process of conducting a thorough investigation on the issue of the footballs used in the AFC Championship," Wells' statement read. "This work began last week, stretched through the weekend, and is proceeding expeditiously this week notwithstanding the Super Bowl. We are following customary investigative procedures and no one should draw any conclusions about the sequence of interviews or any other steps, all of which are part of the process of doing a thorough and fair investigation. I expect the investigation to take at least several more weeks. In the interim, it would be best if everyone involved or potentially involved in this matter avoids public comment concerning the matter until the investigation is concluded. The results will be shared publicly."

F off, Ted. Unless and until you make some effort to catch the leakers in your midst I won't believe a word any of you say.

Thank you, Ted Wells.

I look forward to enjoying many more weeks of your investigation leaking info to the press while you stand back and say "no comment".

And thank you TOO, Mr Robert A. Kraft for allowing your loyal fanbase to be tied to the stake to have to suffer this injustice.

Kensil is behind the leaks. Not Ted Wells.

Think about this too...why did Belichick finally speak out about Spygate in his last PC? Another Kensil link?

This runs deeper than Footballs at this point, Ted Wells knows it, Robert Kraft knows it and Roger Goodell knows it. What we need to find out now is if Goodell is working with Kraft to eradicate the rotten part of the NFL or of he's working with the rot.

Hopefully people see what all this is. NFL is a wounded animal right now. Several weeks? Ya that says to me they are buying time to try to find a way where they don't come out looking bad on something yet again.

It's official, the NFL has less integrity than the NBA. They have reached a negative level of integrity once thought to be impossible.

There is something fishy going on behind the scenes. That's for sure.

It seriously defies logic how somebody could need a month to investigate the ten minutes between the ref check and the game.

If they want to review their own stupid rules, test balls, build charts, and do all manner of other things they can do it later. Clearing the Patriots should have been wrapped up and done days ago.

I know he is deceased now, and for a multitude of reasons, we had issues with him, but does anyone think that Al Davis, Raiders owner, would have put up with this bull ****? He didn't take any crap from Rozell. Imagine what he would have done this little weasel Goddell in all this. He certainly would NOT have been playing "footsie" with him, like "Shifty Bob" does, especially would not have allowed this wimp to do to his organization and fans what we've endured.
