Barstool Sports: Rumors that the Colts' Equipment Manager deflated Intercepted Ball

I just watched the local news. All this is now mute for us living in the Northeast. We are all going to die.

I think most mute people are important. They are certainly not moot. :)

Its been stated numerous times by many people who know far more about this situation than us that the assertion that John Harbaugh and the Ravens had anything to do with the Patriots being investigated for illegally deflating their footballs was completely false.

Nothing is going to blow up in the Ravens faces because they have nothing to do with this.
I don't know who really knows or doesn't know much or how much about what anymore. I'll just wait and see.

For the past week, the media has been running rumors based on what is now acknowledged to be one now apparently erroneous piece of leaked information.

The line between truth and speculation and wild ass guessing was crossed so long ago and then passed off as "fact" by "reputable" journalists that anything might be the truth.

I definitely think the Patriots need to tell the league they want Kensil investigated and that they want to know who on the Colts handled the ball and what they may have done with it....
Ya think?

If this deflategate proves fraudulent from the very first moment, I'm looking forward to Mort Court.
But we all know he'll plead the Fifth and that would make him............................mute. :p

After what BB has gone and said, I'm pretty confident that BB and the Pats are not guilty. To me, this means that any legitimate big bombs in this matter would be of the pleasant variety.
True. the lawyers would not have let him be that definitive. He would have had to leave himself a little wiggle room and he didn't do that. They believe 100% that they are in the right. That said, it doesn't stop people like Florio coming up with additional nonsense.

How long before Aaron Hernandez is linked to this mess?

Terpsnation?! Terpscounty, maybe.
No one here, nor you and anyone else in the Murland fan region, has a clue about what the Ravens did or didn't do.

Not to speak of the fact that your first pro football team left under cover of night because it didn't have the courage to tell its fans what it was doing. Your current football team was stolen from another city, interrupting our current coach's revitalization there and leaving thousands of fans heartbroken. Your current college football team left its conference because it got scared and then tried to assert it shouldn't be held responsible for its contractual obligations. It's fans are best known for couch burning.

Please, go back to the Ravens squawk board and have at it there.

Sounds Good!
Clearing Pats of any wrong doing is a start for me. I'll take Wait & See approach here and see how it all plays out. But if there is foul play from others settin up Pats there has to be severe penalties handed out.

"What goes around, comes around"..

Payback is a bytch...

Gotta wonder how BB's old time friend, Ozzy Newsome feels about these shenanigans...

We have to stop using the bad ones as our sources. That would be a good first step.
Exactly who is this good source you speak of? Seems to be unsubstantiated rumors and innuendo have been quite rampant through "credible" sources.

ESPN, PFT, ABC, NBC, CBS. Hell I even saw an article filled with misinformation from Brazil. Brazil. After soccer the #2 sport there is volleyball.

The only news source that's been basically quiet about this entire ordeal has been the NFL besides announcing they're treating this issue like their searching for the Lindburgh baby.

Lolwut.

Stop trying to shift the blame for this situation onto the Ravens organization because of baseless accusations made by a Patriot fan on a New England news website. That is all I ask.

Didn't need a damned history lesson from you.

Baseless accusations are the essence of the entire situation.

Perhaps that is how this entire situation ends - that I do not know. I just am not a huge fan of the team I root for getting wrapped into this mess because some guy decided he wanted to try and lay blame for the situation on Harbaugh, and then some of the people on this board take it as fact and use it to further your hatred for the Ravens.

I'm not really here to discuss the merits of the accusations against the Patriots...just here to defend my team from blind attacks by a select few people.
