10 Predictions Re: Pats vs Seahawks

Watching the Pro Bowl worries me. The grass looks really slick, short similar to the Chiefs game when all of our guys were falling/sliding. SEA plays there and may have an advantage but hopefully we wear the right cleats!

That is a very good point. That is a natural grass field right?

Correct, it is natural grass. The giants used the fast surface to their advantage in the game that shall not be mentioned.

In this SB we see an angry Pats team that physically dominates the Seahawks. I espect a massive game from Gronk and a14 point win

Seattle is already a fast defense, so it will be interesting to see what effect this has. As TB12 alludes, that fast track made the Giants pass rush even more formidable. The Seattle DL relies on speed to get pressure so I expect Tom to be under duress a bit. At least this time he should have better options in the run game and this time we have a Gronk.

That being said, both teams can benefit from this, though.

Collins is already one of the fastest LBs in the league. Can Edelman break one? Vereen vs. an LB = big play, etc.

Amendola in the slot and Vareen could have big games in the SB When you consider the amount of attention in the middle gronk is going to get and Sherman locking down one side of the field on the outside

what did the Cowboys do to exploit sherman? I recall in that game they lined up Dez bryant on sherman and Romo was not afraid to throw on him...and Bryant burned him.

we all know how sherman defends the outside. But what if you get an Edelman or amendola on him on crossing routes and make him have to play inside? seems like that could be a weakness of him. I recall them having Bryant in motion

Philip rivers also shredded them and Antonio gates had 3 td's. Im curious what their gameplan was as well?

seattle really wasnt able to get pressure on Rodgers in the championship game. I think he was sacked once? and he had all day back there. Not sure how their OL compares to ours. But I dont think their DL is as strong as some of the ones we faced like the Ravens, detroit, jets, bills etc. On the other hand though, their secondary is much better

Your guesses were not back by any actual numerical numbers.
My prediction is backed by actual real facts!!! The team which scores more points at the END of the 4th will likely win!!! You can take that to a bank.

JK!!!

I noticed that to. Seattle does not have as many sacks as you would think. I think the pats send everyone long and drop little passes to Vereen and let him eat up yards.

Before BB press conference, yesterday, i was really undecided. I thought, it will be a close game, with 50: 50 chances, decided bye final drive. But after Bill make his statement: I´m sure! Tom will get his 4th ring and it will be a massacre!!! Patriots will let out all of their frustrations and rage and the Hawks have to pay that price!

That's a good point. I am not sure how the GB OL compares to ours, but they were #2 on the CHFF "Offensive Hogs" Index (New Orleans(!) was #1). By comparison, New England was 7th and Seattle was 8th.

Seattle's D-Line is definitely not as big or powerful as those others, but they are fast. Remember the "NASCAR" package the Giants had in 2011? I think that's what we need to worry about. The counter to that I think is run it at those undersized tackles.

1)Pretty sure the Seahags will be very very physical with our receiving corp, They like to hit people hard at the start of the game.
2)Brady will lift his 4th SB

If the Patriots find themselves in a situation where they have an insurmountable lead (ALA the AFCCG), they will keep the starters in an keep ripping it. At least I hope so.
The little voice in my heads says to take the high road.

#34 is reporting as an ineligible receiver....

Eddie lacy and Jon Stewart seemd to have good games running the ball at their DL. they are physical runners like blount. I could see this as part of our game plan
