New Season

they have no choice but to keep Pastrnak up with the big boys. If not, then they are conceding the season and he will start next year. He looks damn good

Yep, 4 goals in 2 games will usually keep you around, and it would not surprise to learn that Clod is now
in favor of not returning Pasternak to Providence when he needs goals in Boston. The first year of his rookie contract now becomes accrued, and for a team that is as tight to the cap as the Bruins will still be
when that contract expires, that is not an insignificant matter. But because they are so desperate for explosive scoring at Forward (especially RW), while no other draft picks have proven themselves worthy of top-9 status, Chiapet & Clod really have no choice.

He brings such energy to the team. After this goals the Bs looked like themselves. For those saying he wasn't ready...i think he's ready. Has to work on his D but he can score...and we need scoring BAD

And he should stay with countrymate Krejci as his Center, it makes too much sense not to do so.
Add Lucic for muscle, and maybe that line could come closer to replacing the production lost from the
departure of Iginla/Horton than that with Griffith at RW.

I also like the line of Eriksson - Soderberg - Reilly Smith.
Soderberg & Eriksson are both Swedes, and Eriksson & Smith played together at times in Dallas.
As soon as Smith stops hitting posts and starts hitting the back of the net, then maybe Soderberg will
finally have the scoring Wing that his talent properly deserves.

Leave Paille with Bergeron, for now. They're best buds on the team, and I've always thought that Paille had more potential for offensive consistency than Chris Kelly ever had (Kelly is now where he belongs -
on the 4th line).

Bergeron is with Smith and Marchy...waste to put Paille with him imo..would hurt bergeron

At the All-Star break, the Bs are still in dire need a top-6-calibre Wing, preferably a RH one.
Heck, I'll settle for a top-9-calibre one, LW or RW, just so long as Chris Kelly reverts to the 4th line.

It's also a waste to put Kelly with Soderberg, who is the best passer on the team, better than Krejci.

Good W vs a very good Islanders team...Bs seem to be turning around

does anyone think Krug could make a transition to wing? He really handles the puck nice and has a knack for scoring. Just a thought

I'd keep Krug on D, and concentrate on finding a top-9 RW.

nice win tonight. im cautiously optimistic.

very good win last night. I cant help but wonder what happened to Lucic? I dont get to see a lot of Bruins games out here in CA but not seeing him do anything close to his potential. Maybe I'm wrong but im not seeing it.

Lucic's a follower not a leader, so when Krejci was injured early in the season, Lucic was completely lost with Chris Kelly at Center. Hopefully having Krejci at full strength with countryman Pasternak at RW
will provide Lucic the security blankets that he needs.

Krejci makes everyone around him 10x better then they are. Chris Kelly does not...everyone hurt from Krejci not playing

Again, the Bs only scored 2 goals (should've been 5 - Lucic, Soderberg & Paille), but lucky for them
Rask only allows 1. 2 will not even be close to enough tomorrow vs the Scabs.
Time for the Chiapet to work the phones for a RW; lucky for him, the NHL trade deadline hasn't happened already, though it should have.
