Here's Paul Allen and Roger Goodell before last year's NFCCG, in Seattle:

This fits Sherman's definition of conflict of interest, right? Should we question how the Seahawks were able to win that game and then the Super Bowl?

Sherman interviewed during the Pro Bowl game a couple minutes ago: (rough estimation of what he said)

"I don't think the Patriots will be punished. That's just the world we live in."

Implying they would never be punished? Hilarious. They lost a f*cking 1ST ROUND DRAFT PICK for no reason other than the LOCATION of their cameras.

I am surprised he is allowed to insinuate that Kraft and the nfl comish are in cahoots. Does that statement call into question the integrity of the game?

That's a good point. Players shouldn't be allowed to make inflammatory comments about certain things without fear of being penalized or disciplined. Coaches can't diss officials without being fined.

It's like he totally forgot that he skated on a PED violation on a technicality. Did we hear any player on the 49ers (or any other team) say "I don't think Richard Sherman will be punished. That's just the world we live in."

Reposting what I wrote in another thread about Sherman's "4.0"

Now that is something I don't believe. Even if it was an arts degree. Although to his credit (he went to Stanford right?) I have read articles about Harvard undergrad having an A to A- curve, even still I would like to see some investigation into this.

I've spent a lot of time in the past looking at the GPA's of the top students in the country (Canada, and these students were competition for my current program), and even amongst them, it is almost unheard of to go above a 3.95 cumulative GPA. And where the great majority of those near-perfect GPA's come from are the math/engineering fields where there is more often than not one right answer on an exam. In an arts program you are far more susceptible to a lesser grade just based on differing subjective views on the subject matter.

Not to single you out, but the campaign to discredit Sherman's academic accomplishments looks cheap to me. What's the point? He's a bright, well-educated, articulate ****, by name and personality. Honestly, if I'm an opponent I also look askance at Bob Kraft's coziness with Goodell. Hell, I love Bob Kraft and I'm uncomfortable with it. Clearly, Sherman is a jerk, but he's a very smart, accomplished guy who's also a terrific player and an assh###. I say leave it at that.

Ummmm...didn't the NFLPA put the word out yesterday, through its player reps, that there should be no further discussion by any of its players on DeflateGate???
For crissakes, the NFLPA can't keep its members from beating women, driving drunk or using illegal substances. You think they can keep them from talking about delated balls???

He's one player I can't stand!!!! It would make me so very happy if brady throws several Tds to whoever he is on!

Darrelle Revis doesn't take the bait on Richard Sherman

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis isn't taking the bait.

Revis asked his thoughts on Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman declaring himself the best player in the NFL at the position, Revis was quick with his response.

"That's great," he said, before snapping his head in the other direction to field a different question.

The discussion ended there. But it should be noted, for context, that Sherman also had high praise for Revis.

Over the course of the season, Revis has explained at various points that talk of being the best in the NFL is no longer important to him.

"I'm past all that," Revis recently said, adding that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Revis also not so long ago publicly called BB "a jerk."

Not thread hijacking, but this was kind of ironic speaking of d1ckheads..

Ray "I kill ppl" Lewis....was talking about integrity on BSPN...just found that pretty funny coming from him...lol

Richard Sherman is the Rex Ryan of corners.

Seems as though nerves are getting the best of Sherman.....he's talking scared.....

This and the PFT comments have given me an insane amount of weight lifting motivation while I'm at the gym. It's awesome.

Lol at people questioning his intelligence. He talks a lot but he's a very bright young man. They don't just let anybody into stafford, no matter how good an athlete you are

Keep yapping, Sherm. In fact, if I were you and the rest of the Hawks I wouldn't bother preparing for the Patriots since they only got to the SB because Goodell is helping them.

Whoopi Goldberg should shut his mouth. As if there wasnt an us vs the world mentality on top of a gronk that is "not that good" and now these comments by whoopi. Please, slaughter these haters.

...while he was a lost, puzzled, distraught human-being who played for the New York Jets.

Must have been a very dark time in his life. I'll excuse him for it.

You'd be surprised.
If you have enough money, clout inherited from familial ties, or you have athletic skills that will benefit the school's athletic program alongside average intelligence, you can easily get in.
