We are confident the NFL and Commissioner will address the concerns that arouse from our Champ Game. The integrity of the game is critical.

Agreed. I highly doubt the NFL has any evidence. The NFL has a lot to lose reputation wise, over this (which they've lost plenty of).

I'm sure the goal is to pin it on someone within the Patriots. I think it was a sting operation and it didn't turn up evidence. Tom Brady is the one who has been on the hot seat for the most part in the media. I'm sure he's an attractive target to pin it on.
What type of league operates a sting and then tries to bring down one of its teams and the league's most recognizable player? This league is so screwed if it allows the current leadership to remain in place. The teams and players should be the most important thing to protect, not the egos in the league's office.

He's drunk & on coke obviously. Look at the series of tweets.

Sorry Irsay, there is no 'rivalry.' Not when we mop the floor with your team at every chance. Douche.

It's the NFL. Doesn't shock me.

something interesting i didn't know before - the balls don't leave the official's lockerroom until a few minutes before the game when they are given to the ball attendant. Therefore, there is no way that anyone in the pats organization could have altered the balls BEFORE the game. And if the pats did something to the balls during the game, there HAS TO BE video evidence - with all the cameras in the stadium.

When did Irsay stop tweeting like a 12-year-old girl?

Seems like damage control. If this gets turned as a conspiracy with the Colts and the NFL, and maybe Ravens, the punishment could, and should, be harsh.

Tweet back and say that the NFL must answer why the 1 Patriots ball in the Colts possession was 1 PSI less than the other 10 which were not in the Colts possession. 12 tossed in stands I believe. The NFL must answer why this variation exists.

Now that I think about it maybe Schefter was trying to take some of the heat off his friend Mort by stating what he did. Interesting too that there was no mention of the balls being 2 psi below the limit. On top of that the crew made a big dog and pony show showing how they could tell the difference between a ball inflated to regulation and one that was 1 or so psi below.

NFL still pissed at Brady
Translation
Jets mole in NFL front office still butthurt over Brady's dominance

They're probably pissed because at his press conference he said NFL didn't contact him yet.

Of everything that's come out since Thursday, this is arguably the most damning thing anyone has said, since it makes the NFL look completely foolish.

Folks here need to realize that espn & cohorts are not going to back down on their narrative
Facts don't matter
They have the power as does all the media to simply IGNORE contradicting facts & stories
That will happen here
Happens each and every day in every newspaper & TV news, etc.

That's right. And if it is true, they only have themselves to blame. They shouldn't be mad at Brady for that.

Schefter said the NFL is still pretty pissed and the focus of their attention is on Tom Brady.

Numerous people are saying they have been watching and he didn't say anything like that

One more thing: if the Patriots had any fear of this actually blowing up in their faces, they would not be letting GRONK sell a T-shirt like this:

I believe I remember Schefter saying Brady is the focus but I don't remember him saying the league is angry.

If that's the gist of his comment it makes me feel better...AND it makes a ton of sense. I think after BB slept at a Holiday Inn and said some real science **** the league's hand has been forced. Priority #1 is 'resolving' the issue of Brady not having been talked to by leaking him as the 'focus'.

That buys enough time to figure out the real angle: what to do with the fact that you don't have pre-game PSI measurements :) That's the real story, and the NFL's doing everything they can to deflect and delay while they figure out how to reveal that fact without a huge media storm coming back on them.

Keep in mind: the 'inside' media like King and Mort treat the Shield with kid gloves, but they were SLAMMED on the Ray Rice story by everyone else. If it comes out a week into the investigation that they don't have psi measurements from pre-game, that the refs give em a little squeeze and the science has been able to prove this out from day one, the league will be murdered.

I really wouldn't get too worried man. I'm 100% confident Brady is innocent after his press conference. He, and the Patriots, have nothing to worry about except Seattle.
