**** Sherman chimes in about the Pats being punished for deflategate

Reposting what I wrote in another thread about Sherman's "4.0"

Now that is something I don't believe. Even if it was an arts degree. Although to his credit (he went to Stanford right?) I have read articles about Harvard undergrad having an A to A- curve, even still I would like to see some investigation into this.

I've spent a lot of time in the past looking at the GPA's of the top students in the country (Canada, and these students were competition for my current program), and even amongst them, it is almost unheard of to go above a 3.95 cumulative GPA. And where the great majority of those near-perfect GPA's come from are the math/engineering fields where there is more often than not one right answer on an exam. In an arts program you are far more susceptible to a lesser grade just based on differing subjective views on the subject matter.

Ummmm...didn't the NFLPA put the word out yesterday, through its player reps, that there should be no further discussion by any of its players on DeflateGate???

No - Slater mentioned it but it was in regards to the Pats. The Pats and its players are under investigation, so the Pats should stay silent. No reason for a disinterested 3rd party like the Seahawks to stay silent.

Can't wait to hear him spew a bunch of excuses after next Sunday's game

Why should Sherman be different than a lot of posters on this board?
What he said was correct--he didn't say the Pats should be punished, nor sound like he thought they are guilty. Merely pointed out that should the NFL find wrongdoing, Kraft and Roger being besties could possibly influence the outcome. People on this board can't have it both ways and say that Kraft seems to be more on the side of the NFL and its business when push comes to shove, then turn around and crucify Sherman when he states the obvious in response to a question.

Castigating every single person who doesn't praise the Pats, and blaming of the media for everything that's wrong in the world has gone a bit over the top around here imo. Reading the board, you get the feeling that a victim mentality is emerging, which is contrary to what I think our team is about.

I wished he would have said Brady throws ducks. We know he wouldn't **** the bed like forehead in retaliation.

I could care less that he went to Stanford or received a 3.9 at a war-torn HS in Compton. I credit to him for doing something with his life- just like millions of other people. He is no different than the rest of us.

That shouldn't squelch the fact that he comes across as a disrespectful, large-type ahole.

OH Please....**** him and the horse he rode in on......I'm sick of this guy and really hope he eats his words come Sunday.

Darrelle Revis doesn't take the bait on Richard Sherman

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis isn't taking the bait.

Revis asked his thoughts on Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman declaring himself the best player in the NFL at the position, Revis was quick with his response.

"That's great," he said, before snapping his head in the other direction to field a different question.

The discussion ended there. But it should be noted, for context, that Sherman also had high praise for Revis.

Over the course of the season, Revis has explained at various points that talk of being the best in the NFL is no longer important to him.

"I'm past all that," Revis recently said, adding that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Ok, let's take it from a different angle....what will the Commissioner do to a player who has leveraged the Super Bowl, and its heightened public platform, to accuse him of an inappropriate relationship with one of the owners...a relationship that will ostensibly taint his ability to perform his duties fairly????

His middle name is "head"

Good question. Since it's Goodell, he'll wait until he hears the public's opinion on it, and after gauging the response, will either do nothing or give him a full year's suspension....

Hmm, I seem to remember Roger Goodell doling out the biggest punishment in NFL history, at the time, to the New England Patriots, who were also owned by Robert Kraft then, just 8 years ago.

We are still the only franchise to ever be punished a 1st round pick ever.

**** H. Sherman really should learn to shut the **** up once in a while.

If the Pats win the Superbowl, I'm willing to pay top dollar to see TB approach that ****roach and crack one or two "Are U mad bro?!??!"

He wouldn't do it....Brady is a class act.

Seahawks owner Paul Allen owns roughly $5 billion in Microsoft stock, making up over a quarter of his wealth. Microsoft just got a $400 million deal to be the official tablet of the NFL. Conflict of interest?
Can you tweet this please?

TEMPE, AZ — The NFL announced on Saturday that it is still investigating the allegations that the New England Patriots intentionally deflated the footballs they used in their win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game last week.

Speaking for the first time since he arrived in Arizona, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman raised some skepticism about any punishment being laid down, even if they are found guilty.

"Will they be punished? Probably not," Sherman said. "Not as long as (New England Patriots owner) Robert Kraft and (NFL commissioner Rodger) Goodell are taking pictures at their respective homes. I think he was just at Kraft's house last week for the NFC Championship. Talk about conflict of interest."

Whatever you say ****.

Tom...you have our permission to take this guy to school next week. Make it ugly.

Did he really say NFC Championship? He`s too stupid to know what Conference he is in?
