TEMPE, AZ — The NFL announced on Saturday that it is still investigating the allegations that the New England Patriots intentionally deflated the footballs they used in their win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game last week.

Speaking for the first time since he arrived in Arizona, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman raised some skepticism about any punishment being laid down, even if they are found guilty.

"Will they be punished? Probably not," Sherman said. "Not as long as (New England Patriots owner) Robert Kraft and (NFL commissioner Rodger) Goodell are taking pictures at their respective homes. I think he was just at Kraft's house last week for the NFC Championship. Talk about conflict of interest."

Whatever you say ****.

Tom...you have our permission to take this guy to school next week. Make it ugly.

His name isn't **** for nuthin'

Reporter: "Are you the best corner in the league?"

****: " I don't answer preschool questions so improve your questioning"

Tom please destroy this clown next week.

Now someone is taking a shot at Kraft?

He also said people will be rooting for the Seahawks because they like to see history. 10 years isn't exactly history. A repeat would be a strong accomplishment but hardly historic.

Come on pats, he talks a lot of smack but it's time to shut this fella up by winning

I could care less that he went to Stanford or received a 3.9 at a war-torn HS in Compton. I credit to him for doing something with his life- just like millions of other people. He is no different than the rest of us.

That shouldn't squelch the fact that he comes across as a disrespectful, large-type ahole.

This is why Darrelle Revis is a better all around package than Richard Sherman.

Revis lets his play gain attention where Sherman needs his mouth. What a shame as he's a good player.

He studied communications. Who cares where he went to school? Any idiot can graduate with a communications degree.

Other than hoping that the pats win on sunday, the only other thing I want to see is Gronk throwing Sherman out of the club.

Seahawks owner Paul Allen owns roughly $5 billion in Microsoft stock, making up over a quarter of his wealth. Microsoft just got a $400 million deal to be the official tablet of the NFL. Conflict of interest?

As Mike Loyko pointed out on twitter, Paul Allen owns the Seahawks, is a major shareholder in Microsoft who have a huge contract with the NFL. You want to talk conflict of interest.

To be fair to Sherman though, he was asked how long this week would be. His reply? About 7 days. Perfect way to put down the medias idiotic questions.

**** isn't doing any of the hawks receivers any favors. Revis and every other pats dbs are gonna do their talking on the field.

I'm sure Brady hasn't forgotten 2012. Let Sherman keep talking. Also, notice how Gronk is almost exclusively lined up wide to the defense's right side usually. Don't be surprised to see him lined up on the defense's left side quite a bit on Sunday. ;)

I have never felt this confident going into the SB before. I just have had a special feeling about this team since the Bears game. This team is built to win.

Ummmm...didn't the NFLPA put the word out yesterday, through its player reps, that there should be no further discussion by any of its players on DeflateGate???
