You can call it schtick. I call it him flat out calling BB a liar, and he can eat a bag of ****s.

Maybe he likes the taste of ****.

Man, if Bill Nye the Science Guy doesn't buy it, then I guess we're toast....

That's the voice of reason if I've ever heard one: a washed up, sketch-comedian TV entertainer from the 90s, who failed as an actual "scientist".

WE'RE DONE!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't sure where to put this, but just wanted to share an inconsistency or contradiction (IMO) I found with Peter King's reporting.

On Friday he wrote this in his column:
The 12 footballs used in the first half for New England, and the 12 footballs used by the Colts, all left the officials’ locker room before the game at the prescribed pressure level of between 12.5 pounds per square inch and 13.5 psi.

On Saturday, after BB's presser, King tweeted this:
And, of course, we’ll need affirmation that the officiating crew did all the proper measuring pre-game. All to come.

Huh? You reported on Friday that the refs did their job, but now you need affirmation? That doesn't make any sense, Peter.

It's positively amazing to me that some fans still don't know that the refs are responsible for filling the balls with air.

Another week of this crap and the Pats will be breathing fire.

In his career as a HC, Belichick has been blamed by the mediots for an owner's move, been called a liar, a cheat, pond scum, and been accused of having a nervous breakdown. He has every right to slap them back every chance he gets. He earned a lifetime of that as far as I'm concerned.

The best memory I have on the subject of air pressure goes back to my days of grabbing a basketball down in the cellar, pumping it up a little to get it more bouncy and then taking it down to the court so I could use it. I had that figured out before I was 10 years old.

I'm not all that computer savvy, but I know enough to know that all of the dipsticks in the media want us returning their twits and my face bs. A well written letter of complaint to the proper person would be better.

I'm sick of seeing the same dumbass media responses repeated multiple times here. I don't need to see them to know they're idiots, just as I don't need to climb Mt Everest to know it's tall.

Sorry if anyone is offended by this last statement, but I have to say it. Any Pats fan who watches the pro bowl tonight is a schmuck. I don't normally watch it anyway, but this year I might re-watch the two playoff wins at the same time as a form of protest.

For Gronks 1st TD, I want to see him put the ball down, stand on with one foot it like he is posing on a safari and simulate pumping air in a bicycle tire. Then the Gronk spike.

Eh I would rather not have the ensuing penalty that would result in.

I agree, it would be awesome though.

Not sure BB would want it either...on a number of levels.

I wouldn't want the penalty either, but a better scenario would be to have Gronk spike the ball and then go retrieve it and swap in a deflated ball and hand it to the ref.

In the middle of arguing/trolling with seahawk fans over on their board. They're not quite jest fans but they still suck.

Ha , it just dawned on me .. this whole ordeal made Bill spend all that time learning about football physics.. Seems to me that all those haters just made him even more dangerous and added just another a weapon of knowledge to his arsenal :p
You just made the arguably smartest man in football ..even smarter!!! HA!

Just applied the BB press conference to my own personal life.

Just ran some errands and walked into the house...

Mrs. robertweathers: "Did you buy a shovel?"
Me: "Yep"
Mrs. robertweathers: "Let me see it. Is it good?"
Me: "I think so"
Mrs. robertweathers: "Looks kinda flimsy. How much snow will it pick up?"
Me: "Do I look like the Mona Lisa Vito of shovels?"
Mrs. robertweathers: "You have issues."

Tom E. Curran @tomecurran
Switched rooms. But not before some f****** weirdo called me in the room and said he follows me on Twitter. Holy crap.

Geez, that Belichick can't stop hounding him, can he?

Good point. However, he may already know more about football physics than might be expected. Look at who wrote the foreword for the book below. :D
