Looking at this blog site from tick pick it seems like tickets will start dropping dramatically starting tomorrow.. Typically 7 days out befor Super Bowl...

Seems like today is a big planning day for folks

I live out on phoenix and plan on hopefully going as well. Going to wait until Friday or Saturday to look at tickets, maybe even Sunday morning. If anyone has a line on two tickets, please let me know.

Tickets now seem to be dropping on stub hub and other markets.. Seems like Friday and Saturday were the buying days for folks... Look forward to see a significant drop starting today through the end of the week!

:)

I see $4300 as the cheapest now. I'll be glued to my phone all week...

I'm using seat geek, razorgator and stub hub, i've been told these are primarily the best ones, are there any others I should be looking at?

Nah that's what I've been looking at

Nothing quite that low on Stubhub yet. Is there a better place to look?

I buy a lot of tickets using seat geek and stub hub.

However, Super Bowl is a different animal - I have been to and bought tickets to five Superbowls and have used a ticket broker in Las Vegas no less for 15 years now.

He knows the market, is fair and has access to tickets that are not offered on stub hub or seat geek - or at least when you see them there they are at least second and usually third or fourth hand.

His connections are first hand, players tickets, team tickets turned in and second hand from advertisers and lottery winners.

So, if interested, PM me and I'll share -- I have absolutley no affiliation with the guy other than to be a very satisfied customer for a very long time.

I'll post an update after I speak with him tomorrow and let all know where the market really is.

I already have my seats locked in at 3,000 guaranteed upper level sidelines between the 20's and no higher than 15 rows back as a result of my taking a position last Monday, May end up being a good call. If pricing declines, he upgrades my five seats.

For those of you who went to past super bowls, can you share your experience about how exciting it was for you?

1996 sucked -- looking down bourbon street watching packer fans celebrate really hurt.

2001 - awesome. - we were the ones celebrating on bourbon street -- unreal!!!

2003 & 2004 dynasty in the making baby, Houston awesome, Jacksonville, outstanding.

2007 - Phoenix, AZ -- worst experience of my entire life.......walking out of that stadium into that ducking desert having not completed the dream was the awful.

2014 -- hoping to make up for above and capture # 4 ........ Patriot nation needs this one so badly for so many reasons. These players have 54 years riding on their shoulders....let's go baby.

Tickets are still so overpriced. Haven't pulled the trigger on plane ticket yet (live in NYC these days so tickets aren't so bad) but really want to. Want to see some downward movement with ticket prices before I buy that plane ticket. Think they will go down? Or is this Super Bowl just an outlier?

Looking forward to my first SB. Life intervened the last few times and this time my wife encouraged me to just do it and go. I bought my ticket last Sunday right after the AFCCG and paid $2800 for upper level on the 20 yard line.. Nose bleeds but I'll be there.......

They'll drop.. They always do... Probably tomorrow.. Today was probably the last day for other people to plan going out..

I'm waiting until 2-3 days before

I probably should have pulled the trigger when they were around that price... I don't know if i'll get one lower than that.

I'm targeting 1500-2000 for my price range
I'm lucky in that I have relatives to stay with (no hotel to pay) and I used points for airfare to save on that part of it...

I got my tickets on Monday night (Australian time), so about 7 or 8 hours after the Colts game and was able to get end zone tickets 20 rows back for 3,000. Fly out to Vegas on Wednesday and then drive down to Phoenix on Friday morning.

Now I'm worried about getting out on Friday with this stupid storm coming! Please go out to sea!!

2001 - incredible because it was so unexpected! I can still see Ty Law running down the sideline with his pick 6! My husband likes to be early for everything, so we were like the first people in the Superdome. Several hours before the game BB came out on the sideline by himself & sat on the Pats bench with his arms out straight and his legs stretched out like he was taking it all in. He had a small smile on his face & my husband and I said to each other after passing the binoculars back & forth, "oh my God, he has a plan! We are going to win!"
2003 - crazy game. More nerve wracking than 2001 because we were supposed to win and Carolina matched us score for score. Relieved! When they finally won!
2004 - way more Eagles fans than Pats fans (the other 2 were pretty even). We were the only Pats fans in our section, so it was weird to stand up & scream by myself. Never felt as much as the year before that the game was in jeopardy. On the way out (of a stadium that was not equipped to handle a Super Bowl) everyone was squeezed together having a hard time getting out. There was a big mouth funny Pats fan who kept singing " too late, too late, too late, too late" mocking their TO song. Then he screamed "you think they might have learned a two minute offense before coming to the Super Bowl?" And everyone laughed, even some of the Eagles fans.
2007 - worst game I have ever experienced. The stadium was dark and the whole game felt "dark." Then we finally scored at the end and you think, okay, we are finally going to pull this off, and we all know what happened. I wept in the car on the way back to the hotel and I gave the shirt I bought at halftime to Goodwill having never worn it.
2011 - heavy disappointment & de ja vu all over again, but somehow the loss was easier to take. Giants fans were real a-holes after the game.

Totally excited to be going back again! While I hope there won't be a crushing loss, I think I would be more crushed if they won and I wasn't there to see it.

Huge drop in ticket prices over night... The decline begins
