Pat Patriot Helmets for SB

I'd love it if the Patriots used the retro Pat Patriot helmets for the Super Bowl to show their defiance to the football world. What would the commish do then, stop the game?

I would love to see them trot onto the field in the all white throw backs with Pat Patriot. How great would that be?

I've read it's a safety issue with the retro helmets but there must be a way to make the helmets safe. I'm surprised the NFL haven't done this given how they like to pump out various jerseys to sell.

FYI, I don't think it's the retro helmets. They could put the old logo on new school helmets. I think it was more a case of asking players to use two separate helmets one of which would only be used once and likely not broken in and fitting exactly the same as their regular one.

Safety issue? LOL. I don't think anyone was suggesting they put on leather helmets.

white jersey but red paints would be the best solution (imho)

but better wait next season not next sunday...

I personally love the all red unis, but I know there are a lot of older time fans who get nightmares from looking at them because of the dark times for the franchise.

Not a big fan of Marshawn due to his comment F@#$ Bruschi but gotta give him some props for handling the media right.

If we can't get Pat the Patriot back anytime soon we need to use this as an alternate.

I want a big Middle Finger as the new logo.
