I pity the next mediot loser that brings this up to BB. Prepare to be given a major league butt chewing by BB

This article, tho written by a hater, gives the reason I maintain that the NFL has to look to itself and not the Pats to deal with this. This is their baby. They are married to it.

"“When the footballs are delivered to the officials’ locker room, the officials were asked to inflate them to 12.5 PSI,” Belichick said. “What exactly they did, I don’t know. But for the purposes of our study, that’s what we did. We set them at 12.5. That’s at the discretion of the official, though. Regardless of what we ask for, it’s the official’s discretion to put them where he wants.” (Emphasis added.)"

Don't know why anyone would want anyone else running this franchise.

I'd be fine with him running the world after yesterday.

Would be good for the alarm clock industry.

From My Cousin Vinny:

Bill Gambini: We think they're trying to set us up as patsies, Ma. You know how corrupt it is down here. They all know each other.

Jesus, the Fox anchor on that piece was stupid. 'Ooooo it was just too complicated for my little head, he didn't give any answers.... did he?'
Read your own post again and just think about it for a single second. There you go!!

The only thing I wish BB would have spoken on at his PC was to publicly shame the media for the treatment of Tom Brady during his PC. Never in my life have i seen a sports figure so disrespected on national TV without a shred of evidence or even having a history of lying. There needs to be an accountability for that. FFS! and as far as these SI reporters, does anyone really read that magazine other than look at the swimsuit issue? Im being honest in sayin that SI has been irrelevant for many years now.

Can I rant for a minute or so here? Thanks.

This is what I want to see happen (and this stems to the world at large, though deflate-gate definitely highlights the issue for me) in the business world. I think we need clear and concise principles from our media. You either report news or you provide opinion pieces. You can't provide both.

The news needs to provide information that has been confirmed by multiple sources and upholds journalistic integrity.

The rest can be information that is consumed with the understanding that these are people's opinions or are stories made for entertainment. Think TMZ...

I believe the sheoples of the US confuse the 2 in the sense that CNN reports news, when they report on stories, there is a shred of journalism done here. The same goes for Fox News, ... Though if they did this, news stations probably would go out of business.

Thank you, this could go on forever, but I wanted to keep it short.

Dude, Ted Johnson said some effed up stuff about Patriot players families on a radio show. The guy has been ****ed up and vindictive for years.

Oh yeah I remember that now. Made fun of Mrs. Wilfork? Guess you'll say anything when you've got a microphone and no integrity, eh Ted?

I expect the NFL to counteract days before the superbowl either directly or via leaks to further cause trouble like the Jon Tomase. Brace for it.This is not over. They have huge egos and would love nothing more to see BB squirm days before the superbowl. I hope kraft does his job now of keeping the league in check.

The NFL is countering BB's presser by bringing back the ghost of Arlen Spector.

Absolutely correct sir, The league and Goodell have invested their prestige in creating this witch hunt and cannot exonerate the Pats without taking a further beating. With Kraft being a protector of the shield first, I don't expect him to keep the league in check,

Do yourselves a favor and don't watch the Sports Reporters on ESPN led by none other than Boston's own Bob Ryan. Awful.

I appreciate this coach to no end.

Can we talk football now . . . finally?!

Oh look, Bill Nye the 'science' guy hates the scientific method!

Basically says 'I don't think footballs would do what Belichick is claiming they'd do'. For a scientist who should be used to testing hypotheses and generating theories on data he's not all too convincing here.

That said, the Pats would be smart to not only have collected all data on their testing--maybe even filmed a few of their tests and how they prepare footballs--and release them to, at least, the NFL for analysis. It did strike me as strange that they're claiming the internal psi would be affected by massaging/scrubbing the footballs but I'm not a scientist. Is the process so rigorous it raises the internal temperature, which doesn't then drop for a while? I don't know, whatever it is they need to be willing to share that info so more of this sh*t doesn't happen.

That's his rebuttal??? "I don't think....." For a scientist, he's a pretty bad one if he didn't try to redo the experiment before coming to a conclusion.

Oh no... a mechanical engineer says something that contradicts what dozens of other scientists - who actually specialize in physics and thermodynamics - confirmed.

Next?

I thought of liking your post, but I hope you are wrong.
