The Official Belichick Post Press Conference Thread

Did someone come out and say the Colts psi did not change?

My guess is their balls started out around 13.5 psi but the pressure due to weather drop didn't put them under 12.5
or they kept it in front of heaters just like the vikings did.

Felger and Mazz need to be Tomasi'd. Tomasi still has a job but no real fan has any respect for him and no one has let him forget the walk-through type lie.

That guy is dead to me. I WILL NEVER READ ANYTHING WITH HIS NAME ON IT.

"He bends the rules, Mike! I have no reason to believe him. Why were the Colts balls legal, Mike?"

So, about this issue of the Colts balls being legal at half time

We know that the Patriots probably kept their balls inside before handing them to the ref.

Who said the Colts kept them inside? What if the Colts balls were already acclimated to the outdoors because they kept them in a bag outside that day? That's certainly possible. Assuming that's the case, it would explain the Colts balls.

This whole thing has so many holes in it, that it renders the NFL rule about PSI values embarrassing.

The funny thing is I seem to remember when watching NFL network that morning them doing there reports out of the stadium and the reporter covering the Colts saying they were out there like 4 hours before kickoff.

Would a swear to it in a court of law?

No.

Man I wish I had a recording of that (if I am in fact remembering that correctly, though I suppose I could simply act like a journalist and proclaim it as fact)

Anyone disagree that Bob Ryan and Ron Borges will write a column killing BB tomorrow ?

The real question should be does anyone plan on reading it?

maybe if CHB writes it...kidding... Iam surprised he has not chimed in.

Ryan already said this morning that he has written one for tomorrow excoriating him.
This is the Bob Ryan that thought all Red Auerbachs shenanigans was gamesmanship and Red was a genius, but BB is an evil cheater that should be punished. I don't care if its a mea culpa down on his knees I won't read the jackals column ever again.

What gets lost in all this….Patriots do a scientific investigation, come up with real answers. What does NFL say? We conducted 40 interviews!

Hey, NFL, you are an incompetent bunch of bumbling ass MORONS and I hope you all rot in hell.
They conducted 40 interviews and never spoke to the person at the center. Brady! It's like doing a job interview with the candidate's dentist and not the candidate.

The smile on BB's face when he stepped to the podium...someone asks "how are ya?" he says..
"good..good...smiles.. good." That right there told me he is relieved and knows for a fact they have not done anything wrong. And I love the end when he slammed the signal filming-finally! (I'm done calling it ---gate)

Nothing to worry about. As I wrote, tomorrow's piece will be a butcher job.

The insane Steve Serby (NY Post) "debunks" BB's press conference. Please read this and then please send him an e-mail questioning his sanity. This is one nutty NY'er...

a direct quote from this sub-human waste of DNA

"Deflategate is all about making the texture and feel of the football comfortable for Brady."

The dead potted palm on my porch is smarter than this tick brain.

Well, he used to be the Jets' beat reporter for the Post.

Poor Seahawks. They are the defending Super Bowl Champions and all eyes are on the Patriots.

Felger is just doing a schtick, things he says are just to get a rise out of people. I must say that his act is wearing thin.

It's Mazz, the annoying little bridge troll, that bothers me the most. I recall the Sox World Series in 2013 where Mazz second guessed at diminished their accomplishments and doubted their ability to advance every step of the way. "They'll never get by Tampa Bay, no way. Detroit's pitching is stacked, I feel a sweep. St. Louis is a team of destiny and has too many good, young, stud arms."
For a guy who professes to be in a profession he loves he sure seems to be miserable all the time. Perhaps it is because he is just a miserable person. Up yours Mazz!

You can call it schtick. I call it him flat out calling BB a liar, and he can eat a bag of ****s.

Anyone doubt the value of a great, forthcoming press conference?

After listening to Bill Belichick's impassioned declaration that the Patriots did nothing wrong, do you believe him?

(Only Washington state and Indiana are in the red "no" category).
  • 74%
Yes ... and hopefully this ends the overblown deflation controversy.
  • 26%
No ... there are still a lot of unanswered questions here.

He also said the Sox would finish at 85 wins or something in August-September when they were already rolling. I admit I listened to their show quite a bit the last couple of years, but not at all this week. I won't be going back, either. I'm going with Dale & Holley.
