The Official Belichick Post Press Conference Thread

Dont think it will have any bearing on the game. Seahawks are a good team and pats have wasted more time on this . Emotions can help but the other team is also going to be ready..its the superbowl

I don't think the TEAM wasted much time on this at all. I think that Belichick might have "wasted time" on it, but I believe everyone else kept to their jobs and he said as much..

I'll be honest... I don't think Belichick *cares* what Indy does. He put out facts about their preparation process which show it's inexact. Whatever the Colts did is up to them. I doubt he thinks PSI has any appreciable effect on the game. All he knows is: they're being accused of cheating a rule whose process of measurement or enforcement is so inexact, there's no reasonable way of holding anyone accountable.
Maybe Indy put its balls in front of the heater like Vikings did. I hope the Pats go after that.

I felt good after watching Belichick's press conference today. I believe him, and am relieved we're not cheaters. Who gives a crap about what anyone else thinks. And I think this will focus the team. I wonder when and what the NFL conclusion is going to be.

i can't and won't click any links to BSPN, SI or any other ******** network and crappy online website. Mike florio is on my list of people i will punch in the face if i ever see him.

btw, florio, peter king, breer, and whomever else, you can find me at golds gym in Natick during lunch. I'm an engineer who happens to love to play football and lift weights. i'm more than happy to meet ex nfl players and current players who think they are above retribution. well, i've been drinking but i'm not afraid to meet up with those who try and kill my pats team. probably makes me look like an ass.. but so be it

Shannon Sharpe is sticking like glue to the "why were the Colts footballs normal" theme.

Maybe it has something to do with cheating the cap.

Of course we are not. We never were.

There are a whole lot of backstabbing liars in the NFL though. And not even on the field. It's disgusting.

The Media and NFL don't care about evidence or facts. Someone will take a punishment from this no matter what. They won't give up until they have found their witch.

btw, my son's god mother works for bspn in marketing. i've met a few athletes but i told her in 07 after spygate i would never watch or support that **** network again. I lived a stones throw away from them before they became a sensational POS network. OK, i haven't posted in years but i bleed patriot football and can't stand this crap.

Well, they'd better bring more than torches if they're coming after Bill.

The NFL MUST say both of these things, ASAP:

"innocent of all charges,

and further, we regret the unwarranted scrutiny that you have had to endure"

Pats better have the appeal ready and waiting.

"You did nothing wrong but we will punish you anyway"

Total bull****.

You can't appeal.
Read the end of the article. In the league constitution it is agreed that the Commissioners' word is final when it comes to judgements against a team.
Also, the Patriots, as an organization, can NOT sue the league in the event that those assholes find the Patriots culpable.

The is allowed to have its say.

Extremely proud of Belichick today. I was angry and thought they were just going to sit back and wait for this thing to play out. This is exactly what they needed and us as fans as well. . I'm moving on. Missed out on so much good football discussion and it's a shame. We still got 8 days left so let's get some real threads out there to talk some Super Bowl.

I can't see a fine at this point. Bill stated officials were told to inflate them and the footballs were in their possession until game time. Curious to hear refs side
They will still give some lame line about how its the pats responsibility to maintain PSI.

I want this on the back page of the Globe and Herald

what a load of crap..

Sadly the league to save its ego wil still find some way to fine the team it looks like
I didn't get the impression from that conference that they would take it. He stated pretty unequivocally they did nothing wrong. They better bring gloves if they want a fight.

I didn't click the link, but I suspect the mediabots are trying to save face after their very public spanking and praying Goodell to give them an out to save face. I suspect a reprieve is not coming, enjoy watching them continue to try to dig out of this hole.
