It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I might be in the minority here, but, I think the NFL is "in the middle." The Colts or the Colts' media raised the question, which forced the NFL to investigate the matter. Alas, this forces the NFL to confront that ball pressure is such a relative non-issue, that not much attention is given to the matter. However, the NFL is now under scrutiny as to why exacting measurements are not done to adhere to a ... inconsequential(?)... rule.... It's politics at it's worst, fueled by jealous haters.
Been thinking the same thing the past couple of days.
No, Goodell is aware of it.will the "other teams were also videotaping" comment prompt the league to launch another investigation?
Why arent the dolts being investigated? Maybe they inflated their balls.
They were leaking made up info, like D Jackson being the person to bring it to attention!Someone was leaking incriminating details...had to be someone from the NFL office.
Cripes, there's a headline on CNN right now that says "Opinion: Patriots should be banned from Super Bowl"Ahh the New England Patriots, home team to a region mostly dominated by those bleeding heart liberals. I suspect Obama has a role in this!
Well, there is a missing 12th football. Maybe this is why the investigation is still ongoing.
Couldn't agree more, especially the part about Peter King actually being a moron. If he had half a brain, he certainly wouldn't be this obtuse. Ultra maroon to the max....Peter King is still acting as if the football arrived to the refs exactly the same.
BB said that the way they prep the balls causes pressure change. Then they return later to equilibirium.
He also said 'we tell the refs to pump them to 12.5'. So, if they were prepared just before delivering them, then the refs pump them up, then they return to equilibrium thats 1 to 1.5 psi, then the weather/temperature accounts for another .5 to 1. The Colts balls were probably prepared in Indy and were at equilibrium so the .5 to 1 drop from conditions would be well within the range.
BB actually conducted tests. Peter King actually is a moron.
Worst part about it everyone forgets the Patriots annihilated the freakin Colts this wasn't even a close game!!!Cripes, there's a headline on CNN right now that says "Opinion: Patriots should be banned from Super Bowl"
Can we keep your politics out of this. The whole media sucked, top to bottom, blogs to mainstream, sports to politics.
