Sounds like he is unsure. Covering his ass. "We were just reporting." ********. You helped in a witch hunt, you piece of crap.

He is getting slammed by tweets. Go ahead and tweet him. I said he should probably check if he is at risk of liable or slander. No accusations just that he should probably check.

Can Kraft demand show their preliminary NFL findings? The misinformation caused his team to tie up their most precious resource (their head coach) for substantial amount of time this week.

Basically Bill went "all-in" to use a poker term. The burden of proof is on the league to show deliberate tampering. He provided easily repeatable steps on how the pressure can go down in conditions similar to game day. If anyone thinks he's lying, just plain does not like the guy and isn't rational about it. I loved the dig at the spygate crap, basically saying 80000 people could do the same thing against both teams. His guy happened to be in the wrong part of the stadium that was clearly forbidden.
I have no doubt the team is locked-in and determined to give everything they got for this coach and qb. next week will be MUCH better for all of us fans than this crappy week of stupid overreaction.

1. I echo the earlier question - who was asking about "pushing the envelope" basically saying "duhh Bill we in the media have convicted you of always bending rules as much as possible, so why would you disagree with that narrative..." to which he replied with the 80,000 people comment, and most importantly EVERYONE ELSE IN THE LEAGUE DOING IT TOO

2. I love that he used physical proof. So many #'s being thrown around without any context at ALL about things like fluctuation due to temperature or CALIBRATION of instruments.
That gives credences to Michael Holley's assertion that when BB showed up with the tapes and handed them to Goodell they had video of other teams doing the same thing.

I actually think this is brilliant. These guys have no problem using every tool in the social media to tear BB down, feel free to repay the favor.

"To: The 6 New England states. From: The media. Re: Footballs. The NFL has an investigation going. We are covering it. Have a good day."

"To: The 6 Ton Pachyloid. From: The 6 New England states Re: Douchenozzles. The fanbase is watching you squirm like the bloated worm you are. Have an even better one"

Donté Stallworth @DonteStallworth

Belichick certainly has a sense of humor, he just doesn't show it publicly often (ever). And I loved My Cousin Vinny when I was a kid.

oh yeah no more themmqb.com visits from me. peter king is a ignorant hack reporter

If anyone noticed more than a few times BB was hinting at the fact that the officials may not necessarily do what they are supposed to do with checking the footballs.
100%. The whole farce of this is the NFL pretending that every game ball is to be exactly the same, when a) that's physically impossible when leather and air are involved and b) perhaps the refs are habitually more than a little lax about doing their bit.

Peter King is still acting as if the football arrived to the refs exactly the same.
BB said that the way they prep the balls causes pressure change. Then they return later to equilibirium.
He also said 'we tell the refs to pump them to 12.5'. So, if they were prepared just before delivering them, then the refs pump them up, then they return to equilibrium thats 1 to 1.5 psi, then the weather/temperature accounts for another .5 to 1. The Colts balls were probably prepared in Indy and were at equilibrium so the .5 to 1 drop from conditions would be well within the range.
BB actually conducted tests. Peter King actually is a moron.

Another important thing he said is that footballs aren't checked during games so there is no way of knowing that this happens. I bet the colts or Ravens checked the psi level of one of our intercepted balls and figured it out. All they had to do is cry about it and make us look guilty. If footballs were checked during games you may find that this happens quite a bit.

So you locked a thread about this very topic so YOU could have your own thread about this topic?
Live event threads get locked after the event is over. It's not like the Post-Game discussions are done in the main Game Day thread. Why should this be different?
