Bob Kraft where are you???????

I've been defending Kraft's silence because of the reasons around league politics and making sure he understood the results of the investigation.

In that presser, BB just stuck his football life on the line for what he believed, what the org did to test the process which demonstrates that they operate within league rules and in defense for his team and the brand.

Time to Bob to do the same. By not doing it would be bad form.
I completely agree with you.

Now let me defend Kraft
If after the NFL releases their "study" he takes a strong position backing BB & TFB, I'm good with him.
He may be leading the 2nd wave of the assault.

Bill Belichick has come out twice to give his complete knowledge of this deflated football incident. Tom Brady stood before a feeding frenzy of media sharks and gave his knowledge of the deflated football incident.

Bob Kraft releases a written statement sucking up to the NFL. It's time for Bob Kraft to either give a live or written statement in 100% support of his Head Coach, his Quarterback, and his Patriots football team.

And yes, we have enough threads on this subject and I will gladly delete this one once Bob Kraft does the right thing on behalf of his HC, QB, and football team.

I suspect that he has no interest in diving into this. This is probably what he figures he pays other people for.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Apparently the team just finished up their investigation. Another epic press conference would be nice, well timed to embarrass the media.

PNM - I didn't see you yelling for Ozzie Newsome and Steve Bisciotti to make statements on players like Rice and Cody.. I didn't see you yelling for Mike Zimmer and Ziggy Wilf to make a statement on Peterson.

Actually a lot of people did call out Newsome and Bisciotti for making Harbaugh go out and not doing it themselves. I hate whiny Harbaugh and defended him on that. I feel the same way about Kraft now. Making statements about Rice and Peterson was more analogous to Kraft making a comment on Hernandez.

There has been no greater critic of Kraft than myself on this site. He has the opportunity to show once and for all what he made is of by his words and deeds now. I truly hope he proves his worthy of the people who put it on the line for him.

The NFL should also come out with some facts to put an end to this friggin charade so the talking heads can stop speculating, 90% of what we've heard is wrong.

I was among those who wanted Mr. Kraft to speak and save this team when the NFL kept quiet for three days.

But i am shocked to read comments here mocking Kraft now.

Did you consider for a second that it could be a good cop/bad cop show for the outside? BB takes the heat and comes out firing (and he has done an excellent job in it that possibly saved this from going down further). Mr. Kraft on the other hand takes the high road and acts polite like he usually does.

It is foolish to think that he (Kraft) did not speak to BB and TB about how they were handling this. Plus, he is the friggin owner and one of the most respected guys in the league. So, he must have a reason to tread carefully (especially after the fiasco the FO did when it came to handling camera-gate).

If this is how the Pats fans react based on assumptions, what right they have to expect BSPN and the media to wait for facts to come out??

Sad to see such negative - and worse, personal hits - by fans against the owner who made the right moves for us to enjoy the glorious Pats for more than a decade; someone both BB and TB clearly cherish.

BB just showed what manning up and being a leader is.
Kraft was so eager to be seen with TB before and after Sunday's game
When the bullets flew he fled the scene
I have no respect whatsoever for the man any more

He'll have to earn respect by how he conducts himself under adversity, not glad handing

Boo his ass off people!

This HAD to be done, the hater attacks had taken their toll and this Pats franchise was in serious jeopardy of collapsing.

BB did what needed to be done, and that includes addressing Spygate.

I still fear the NFL won't let the Pats win because of how much egg this puts on their face and Goodell may find it intolerable handing the Lombardi to BB, but make no mistake, BB saved the Pats franchise today.

Finally I can drum up enough enthusiasm to get interested and psyched for the Superbowl appearance the players, and we fans, have richly earned.

Now, where is my Tom Brady jersey, I've got to go out and run some errands!

First of all a Hi to Patriot nation from Hamburg Germany.

2nd: i am now standing 200 % instead of normaly 120 % behind our coach and our team. I never heard him before like today. THUMB UP.This is my understanding to be a leader of a TEAM - strong and faithfull with words.

3rd: normally we have a very good chance to win the superbowl. And i hope, that the THE NFL (our biggest enemy) will play fair. I am not expecting this.we will have to see.

4th: for a Pats fan in germany it is very difficult to enjoy our success, cause all of this fuxxing news i am reading from the newspapers around your country. But just talked to my wife 15 min ago an she is willing to give me a 5 days break to visit my best man in philly (also Pats fan) and have a great superbowl party.:p

my advise to PATS NATION: 1 FOCUS - LOVE your TEAM - ignore morons like bleacher/espn/borgus etc.

Last thing to say: Kraft is telling (latest on monday) what the PATS World is thinking about tis ****:)
He is the best owner i can remember.

STAY cool.... BEST wishes from Hamburg

I am in the camp that Kraft is working other channels within the NFL office/Goody to ensure this has a favorable outcome for the team. I supported Kraft being silent while this played out both in the press and until the investigation concluded.

I think the fan base is disappointed that BK is not demonstrating the kind of visibility great leaders show in crisis situations such as this one.

BB laid it all out there. His football rep, his credibility, his honor- to defend the team and the brand.

It is now appropriate for Kraft to publicly support BB and TB.

Seriously, are you kidding me????????

After that Mangum Opus by Belichick, how in the world is Bob Kraft going to do anything but screw it up?

Kraft is kind of laid back and doesn't strike me as a guy who would stand up the the NFL heads even though he has a lot of power and say....he should however...but BB did a great job so Kraft won't be taking

If that is the case, its time for Jonathan to take over. Not sure how he feels about this though !

This kind of conference should have come from the ownership that has so much perceived power with NFL. What good is having power when people are messing with you and you duck for cover and give a vanilla statement. Stand up for the HC and the Team that is giving you the money that you keep counting Mr Kraft !

rant done...

IN BILL WE TRUST
GO PATS

I hear you and as I mentioned in my first line, I was for Kraft making some statement within a few days especially if the NFL is silent; in fact, argued with Andy in another thread why he should.

I do understand the disappointment but is there a need to attack him about his age and personal life?

What if BB had told him that he will fight this and ask him not to intervene as it again calls into question the integrity of BB and his players?

Many are acting as if this is over; it isn't until the NFL ends its review. So, maybe until then, why not assume Kraft is working behind the scenes with the NFL to get this done efficiently?

And come on ...BB is the leader of this team.

BK is a gracious owner who had the brilliance to pull him away from the swamps of Meadowlands, and get out of the way.

Hats off to BB for the PC today.

Why spoil this proud and elated moments by bad mouthing the owner without knowing the facts?

Never gonna happen. He's in a difficult position on this one, given his status as one of the league's most influential and powerful owners with the most to loose should things go south with Goodie. So I can't say he made the wrong move for himself. I can say that his silence on this has done his fan base a huge disservice.

BKraft Used to be one of US, now hes one of Them, part of the madison avenue NFL good o'le boy corporate types counting money. He doesn't want to anger any of his new buddies.

We really want to know where IRSAY and KRAVITZ are? They are the problem now!

This tempest in a teapot may have helped by not giving the coaches extra time to overthink their game strategy. It also put a fire in this team. They will take this as us against the world and win this game decisively now. The stars are aligning. The Pats and Brady are going to get number 4!!

they should be strung up metaphorically speaking. while i doubt the nfl can do anything about kravitz they could go after irsay and the colts.

Yes I am serious. He doesn't have to or probably shouldn't get up in front of the press ala BB. I don'think anyone, including myself wants another "epic" press conference.

But how about a written statement to the press. " Both Coach Belichick and Tom Brady spoke to the press on this matter, I stand totally and fully behind both our coach and quarterback in this matter". Or words to that effect.

Would that be so hard? Is that asking too much from the owner after what those 2 guys have gone through this week?
