Dungy: NFL needs to restrict New England’s substitution game

We don't even have as many receiving options compared to some teams and people still complain. 70% goes to Edelman and Gronk and then the rest go to Lafell and Vereen. If your defense can't cover Hooman/Amendola quality receivers, you aren't going to win whether we substitute or not.

I remember the 2004 game where Dungy and the Colts attempted to deceive. I forget the details but the Colts where flagged because Manning was moving even though he became an eligible receiver. And the deceiving play failed.

This is a running league. That's what football is. The league needs to put an end to this pass-happy craziness because it's destroying football. Hopefully Bill Walsh is suspended because what he's doing is unethical and against the spirit of the game.

Just hike the ball and run draw play after draw play like everybody else.
