So now the Patriots CANNOT POSSIBLY have as few fumbles as they do...

So I looked...in the years since 2007, the Patriots have been 1st in fewest fumbles only once. They were usually in the top 5. Last year, 2013, they were 24th.

But this guy has graphs and stuff to show that their lack of fumbling is statistically impossible. I swear, this is out of hand to the nth absurdity. and could simply end my football fandom.
It couldn't possibly be that the Patriots place a great emphasis on ball security.

These idiots have two arguments that contradict each other.

1. The Patriots have been using underinflated footballs for years.

2. It is easy to notice the difference between an underinflated football and a properly inflated football.

In order to believe #1, you would have to also believe that it is difficult to notice the difference between a properly inflated ball and an underinflated ball. Why? Because the very first time the Pats fumbled away or threw an interception with an underinflated football, an opposing player would have been able to easily notice it was underinflated and made an accusation years ago, which never happened.

lol that idiot albert breer claiming that the theories of the Pats being at 12.5 and dropping below and the Colts being at 13.5 and dropping the same amount are wrong.

Oh ya dumb ****?

What if the colts filled their footballs up to 13.5 outside and the Pats filled theirs up to 12.5 in a a room that was 75 degrees?

Pats footballs could drop in PSI almost immediately while the colts balls being filled up outside would see almost no loss unless the temperature dropped significantly.

Like honestly are these buffons writers just disregarding the many variables of what could have happened?

Oh let's also not forget how the NFL laywer talked how the refs supposedly handled checking the footballs before the game.

Good god. I enter the bank for one minute and a guy comes in and starts talking to the random lady tellers about deflate-gate. Sheesh.

Yeah,..he is talking lot of crap

That's important context, b/c it displays if atmospheric conditions affected the footballs, it was only on one side, which would be bizarre.

and then when someone pointed it out

I now know it wasn't like that. RT @KelseaHanks: @AlbertBreer Unless Pats started at 12.5 ->11.5 and Colts were 13.5 -> 12.5

People now asking how does he know it wasnt like this and he does not have an answer

and erroneously claims

Statement says NFL, led by Jeff Pash and Ted Wells, has conducted nearly 40 interviews. Confirms @mortreport on balls being under-inflated.

when the statement didnt confirm PSI or # of balls

If nothing else it's encouraging that people are doing some research and learning some science they didn't know before...who knew some deflated footballs would lead to an entire nation being experts on the ideal gas law :)

I live in Pennsylvania and everyone I know who knows I'm a Pats fan wants my take. Even my wife who doesn't follow football... She goes to work and she texts me from work "So I heard the Pats cheated???"

This is the world we live in now... I explained the whole story in great detail later that night and she gets it, but obviously we aren't gonna be able to explain this to the whole world. 90% of the people who see this stuff already think the Pats cheated and that's that. If/when we're exonerated, they won't know or won't care. It's now been established to millions of casual or non football fans that the Patriots are cheaters for sure. It's disgusting, honestly.

All they have is the tapes. They're still looking for evidence on there
WTF happens if there isn't anything incriminating the Pats on the tapes? Hopefully case closed!

This would be evidence that nothing happened on the sideline. Evidence can go both ways.

They will still slam the pats citing ultimately that the team is responsible for ensuring that the balls are in legal limit throught the game.

Well, Jay Glazer is full of ****. In his report yesterday, he made three claims:

1) The Ravens tipped off the Colts
2) The Colts already knew that the Pats were deflating balls, because Mike Adams realized it when he picked Brady twice earlier this year.
3) Rather than addressing it immediately, the NFL instead decided to wait a couple of months and through three playoff rounds so they could 'sting' the Patriots in the AFCCG.

Well, for #1, Harbaugh went on the record and specifically contradicted that shortly afterward, saying the Ravens didn't notice anything, so therefore there was nothing to 'tip off'. For #2, Mike Adams has now gone on the record specifically to state that he didn't notice anything unusual about the balls he intercepted.

As for #3, that's in full-blown ******ed conspiracy theory territory, but I could *almost* believe that Goodell has that much of a hate-boner for Belichick if the rest of the report was true. But since Glazer's proven to be yelling nonsense throughout the rest of his report, I'm inclined to believe that he is on this as well.

I can't see any situation where we "win" here. We could get no penalties from the league and this would never quiet down or we could get hammered for it and basically just relive the criticism with Spygate. Either way our reputation is shot but it really shouldn't matter. I for one hope we win handily and then turn down all interview requests for the next 7 months with reporters not named Curran, Reiss, Kyed or Howe.

I cant trust the nfl.Sometimes I wonder if we are being setup.I am not even a big conspiracy theorist. This is the same nfl that bungled the ray rice story
