Bob Kraft Statement

Can't say I'm surprised. Kraft had a chance to really make a statement here and instead he further showed that his scrotum has been surgically removed. How disappointing.

But not altogether surprising. I've never been a fan of Kraft, as long as I can remember. Glad to see some people coming around and realizing that Kraft is about the league and $$$ first and foremost.

Can you imagine them winning the superbowl now. Could be a very prickly episode of americas game.

I hope The Pats win this game. Then Brady can retire and go live his life in peace, BB too. If you guys think that this stuff doesn't bother them, think again. These guys are HUMAN. It does appear that Kraft is not supporting the QB and Coach from that statement. I hope it's not true, if it is, shame on him.

I don't know how this will end. By the end of next week I may no longer be a Pats or NFL fan.

We might be basking in the glow of another great Superbowl win and have our franchise be cleared of any wrong doing, we may lose yet another Superbowl, I may be feeling "Let's just get this damn game over!", as I felt before the game in 2008.

We may see BB fired or resign and take half the fan base with him. Brady may re-think playing into his 40s and retire after the game.

There are a lot of variables at this point, and much of it hinges, for me on how Bob Kraft responds and sticks up for his team. The fans and players fight for him, he should return the favor. In the early part of his ownership he was the best owner in the league, now.......?
Kraft doesn't deserve BB and Brady, and it would not be a surprise if this next game is the last one he has them for.
Personally, it won't take much more to make me throw in the towel on the Pats and the NFL.

If this is all he was going to say then why even bother releasing this pile of nothingness. We get it, you are fully, quickly and completely cooperating with the NFL Gestapo. Congrats.

Kraft is a good owner. When things are going well and everything is running smoothly.
The problem is when things are not going well. It is during difficult times that Kraft shows himself to be what he really is. Out of touch!
Underwhelmed is the best word to describe his statement today.

Very disappointing, to say the least.

Im surprised kraft didnt signed the statement with "buy more razors and jerseys, i dont care if you doubt of the team"

I find it funny that some are falling into the trap of blaming the owner/franchise. Constant media scrutiny gets to you...doesn't it? This situation is the simple result of the wholesale destruction of the NFL. It's being crushed by it's own weight.

The NFL used to truly be a league. Every team operated in the best interests of the league. Justice for infractions was kept internal. The sanctity and integrity was maintained by it's members.

Now, we don't have a league. We have 32 Kingdoms...within each team we have numerous egos...from coaches to GMs to players. Every man for himself. We have the clueless Irsays, Browns, Johnson's and Davis's as owners to name a few. These guys are part of the fabric of the NFL.

Then we have the modern....24 hour a day...life-sucking media. They are parasites. Their existence is completely dependent on the existence and actions of others. They provide nothing but exist in a cocoon that allows them to profess righteousness without allowing themselves to be scrutinized under a similar microscope.

Unfortunately, the league relies on these parasites to expand the reach of it's game, It has sold it's soul to these people. Sadly these are the same folks that will kill it in the end.

"I believe in my coach, and my quarterback, and the staff here that have told me we weren't responsible for any deflation." - There's nothing to lose from saying that.
Yes but the nfl is also not mentioned 'deflation' or accused them of anything. Seems like a lawyer statement.

This statement is BS...Basically his HOF QB, His HOF Coach and his team are being called cheaters openly and on virtually every media outlet and he comes out with this garbage?

Nice way to defend your franchise. Lost some respect for the man by not backing your people right or wrong.

Remember are you a cheater Tom?

This this this x 100

His lawyers probably didn't allow him to say anything else

Ravens defended Ray Rice even when they knew what he had done even if they didn't see the video. League has no evidence (they only have suspicions) that the balls were tampered with and Kraft defends nothing.

I got news for you Kraft.....Goodell is not your friend if he intentionally let's this issue continue on. It's not the footballs that we should be worried about being under inflated, it is your balls that are really under inflated.

Might be a good business move, but for me it just makes him a coward. For all the talk about family and community that he usually spews there is not much to see here.
