Would have hoped he would have proclaimed innocence

He actually can't make such a proclamation....because he probably doesn't know for sure. And even if he spoke to every single member of the organization, he still couldn't make such a proclamation unless, somehow, he could be sure that every single person was telling him the truth. In this regard, he is taking a wait and see posture...while certainly hoping that his organization is absolved of any wrong-doing. In fact, to make such a proclamation would indicate a bias on his part...especially when the entirety of the investigation has yet to be completed. Good statement...just right.

So Kraft releases statement after God - Dell? Seems like they are working together to save the NFL..blaaaaaaa. Unbelievable, What is this a High class gentlemens club? the players and coaches are just their toys? Choose your side Mr Kraft. So there really isnt a Santa :(

The Patriots haven't been accused of a single thing by the NFL. The NFL statement, it is written by lawyers and it is just important what they don't include and the nuances of the words they do use.

FL statement, it is written by lawyers and it is just important what they don't include and the nuances of the words they do use. They never use the word deflate or deflated only under inflated. This is a huge difference. The NFL has nothing and said nothing. They never even stated that pregame the PSI was measured. They implied it but never said explicitly they did hence they could not use the word deflate.

Lawyer weasel writing 101, make it seem like you are saying something you are not. Imagine being in court, they would say, we never said the balls were deflated, only that "footballs that were under-inflated were used by the Patriots in the first half". We never said that the Reffs used a gauge to measure PSI pregame only that "game officials inspect the footballs to be used by each team and confirm that this standard is satisfied, which was done before last Sunday’s game" Inspect does not mean measure PSI.

TMZ has more credible info nowadays than the nfl ...after the ray rice fiasco..so if they put something out i would be worried.

Agree and if you read it they don't say anything other than being reviewed. Look at the NFL write up,
under inflated is from a standard while deflated is from a measured point.

All they have is the tapes. They're still looking for evidence on there

Lol that is right up there with the most misleading headlines of all time. It says "NFL On Deflate-Gate We have Video Evidence Experts Reviewing the Tape." (Emphasis added).

That's just ridiculous. That one headline and their use of font sums up everything wrong with the media. All about getting clicks rather than reporting facts.

And the piling on goes elsewhere...

So now the Patriots CANNOT POSSIBLY have as few fumbles as they do...

So I looked...in the years since 2007, the Patriots have been 1st in fewest fumbles only once. They were usually in the top 5. Last year, 2013, they were 24th.

But this guy has graphs and stuff to show that their lack of fumbling is statistically impossible. I swear, this is out of hand to the nth absurdity. and could simply end my football fandom.
