Hire lawyers, a forensics company, do 40 interviews, over a little bit of air that none of the players, who actually play the game, noticed any difference.
How to go NFL, how to go.

The only thing that sticks out to me from this report is that the balls that were properly inflated at the beginning of the second half remained properly inflated after the game. Of course that doesn't say anything about when or where they measured the inflation of said footballs.

Yea filled up outside in the cold they would not deflate

It's crossed over from patently absurd to mind-bogglingly absurd. If you can't determine guilt, innocence, or reasonable doubt after five days and 40 interviews, then you're either grossly incompetent or you're desperately reaching for something you can use, which is disgusting.

BINGO we have BINGO.

Not to mention they haven't even talked to TOM BRADY.

I don't really see how the Pats have any choice now, but to not participate in the SuperBowl news conferences. surely, the NFL can't expect every Patriot to be subjected at every presser to the media mob attack Brady got yesterday.

And, we now know that the league office has been responsible for the leaks that have been driving this thing.

"And we expect fully cooperation from others clubs too, we randomly selected the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins to conduct interviews"

IN THE COMING DAYS?! We're on day 5 of this ridiculous farce, and there are multiple days left?

They could have released this at the beginning of the week and headed off 5 days of crazed speculation.

Hmmmm. Still no mention of any numbers recorded by NFL game official Mr. Whipple when he actually tested the ball pregame with the gauge required by the rules to be provided to him along with the balls.

This. It is very interesting in what they did not say vs what they did say. They confirmed they were properly reinflated, and stayed inflated, but no mention of their state at the start of the game.

I also noticed that there is no mention of the pressure loss. 1 PSI, 2 PSI? I find it odd that they purposely do not mention this.

Also, a 13.5 PSI ball at R/T should be at ~12.5 PSI at the end of the 2nd half. Did the pump up the balls outside for the second half? If that is the case, they should have stayed roughly the same.

Nfl..."yes we suck, we need more time, so we going to use next week time to distract the Patriots players when we interview each of them for a prolonged period of time so they will lose the superbowl. Yes we have no ****s."

Apparently I'm in the minority here, but I like this. It directly mentions the fact that there is a possibility that this was not the result of deliberate action by the Pats. I suspect at least some media outlets will start to run with this angle. In fact, they already have. Someone posted a link to an MSN article blaming the refs not long ago.

"...and specifically whether any noncompliance was the result of deliberate action. We have not made any judgments on these points and will not do so until we have concluded our investigation and considered all of the relevant evidence."

Im getting kind of sick of this guy and his pacifism.. He needs to buy some balls or at least re-inflate his own or just sell the team. I was under the impression the mega rich are cut throats who do anything to protect whats theirs. Did he inherit his money or something?
Yes, as a matter of fact, he did. The money came from Myra Kraft's family. I cannot believe he is not going crazy demanding that the NFL exonerate his team NOW so they can go and win the Superbowl. Goodell was at his house one week ago. I think that's the problem. Kraft seems to value being a "playa" in the NFL more than the team itself. So frustrating...

We Pats fans need to swamp the NFL with emails and stuff. Does the NFL use twitter?

I hope they got one scientist in there to determine if nature played a factor. I sure as hell don't trust the NFL brain trust to know.

Make a mountain out of a mole hill because it's the Patriots, let's ignore other teams tampering and stuff because the super duper evil Patriots used a ball that didn't have enough pressure but by such a little amount no player noticed.

Why did you DEFLATE THE FOOTBALLS!-Nfl investigation.

True, but I would rather just have them do a complete, comprehensive investigation. If they can come back and conclude, without any doubt whatsoever, that they have reviewed basically every angle, watched every employee, and accounted for the footballs as ALL times, that is really the only way the Patriots will be exonerated by the 5% of sports fans who will care about the truth.

This assumes that the NFL is capable of a "complete comprehensible investigation." The Ray Rice example puts the lie to that assumption. NFL bumbling idiots got our team into this. I'd rather not depend upon those same bumbling idiots to get them out while clearing the NE PATRIOTS' name. Meanwhile I'm going to see if I can find me one of those winter hats to cover my ears while I sing lalalalala.

Yet he is happy to show his face when BB & TB12 are winning him games and boosting the franchise. But when things are rough...

I could be wrong, Kraft could be working behind the scenes but I find little reason to think he is, particularly after Spy Gate
