The worst part of this is that scumbags like Mark Brunell are making money off it.

Which he will then blow on terrible investments.
Perhaps, but after seeing his performance the last couple of days, I suspect he's moved on from bad investments to substance abuse.

Joe Zarbano @JoeZWEEI
At 10:30, the outspoken Mark Brunell will join @WEEI's @LouMerloni @christianfauria @TimBenzWEEI to discuss the Patriots, Brady #DeflateGate

This should be a triple-boxer...

I don't tweet, but could someone here PLEASE tweet those 3 WEEI hosts about Jim Miller's comments yesterday?:

james miller‏@15miller
Folks, I played under Bill B & w/ Tom Brady. Mark Brunell is way off base & I played w/ Mark also. What Tom Brady said today was the truth.

@ProFootballTalk: Mark Brunell doesn't believe Tom Brady http://wp.me/p14QSB-9H0M”..Sadly, M Brunell is wrong, & I love Mark. Ask @PriscoCBS

Anyway, the real reason I’m posting this is Matty’s comment after Bledsoe said he doesn’t honestly think this should be a big deal and doubts anything happened. “But Drew, this is a BIG DEAL. I mean, it was the lead story on all three national networks this morning. EVERYONE is covering it. Something must have happened, amirite?”
That's the point, it SHOULDN'T be a big deal but the media freaks have MADE it a big deal. My God, we have two Japanese about to get their heads cut off by ISIS, a Saudi King dies, but this pressure in the football is more important.

Seriously, my heart bleeds for the future of this country.

I don't tweet either (just seems to easy to get yourself in trouble, no thanks). I pick it off the sidebar but I hope someone does do that. Good call.

Kraft should sue all these bums for slander.

Unfortunately, it is not confined to just the US. Society is purposefully being shaped to produce lazy, desensitized, greedy people who are easily distracted. They also want these people fat and soft so that if they ever did have a mind to rise up, they'd be woefully ill equipped to do so.

in all honesty.. all i needed to hear yesterday was adam schefter... we/i never doubt him he is right all the time... thats when i stopped being to nervous over this issue

Seriously, my heart bleeds for the future of this country.

What future? We live in a society of lazy, selfish, ignorant, jealous, instant gratification imbeciles. Look how bad its gotten over the last 20 years. Obviously social media and technology have fueled it.

Where will we be 20 years from now? Add in that parts of the world want to destroy us and technology is only going to make easier for them.

I mean seriously, A QB has admitted paying to have balls doctored in a Superbowl. Where is the outrage? Rogers has also admitted he over inflates balls. Panthers and Vikings were caught doctoring balls this year - red handed.

Where are all the reporters and stories??? Oh that's right, I forgot we also live in a incredibly hypocritical society as well. And nobody wants to see a winner. All the losers want everyone else to be like them.

"Peter, Peter!! hold up a second we need to talk. Listen, Peyton is about to retire man, hes done, his goose is cooked, another 1 and done in the playoffs, and brady, that ****ing smug *******, hes going to another superbowl, **** that guy and his good looks, and his talent, and his super rich, super hot wife, and its adorable kids. have you seen my kids pete? ****ing goblins, and my troll ogre of a wife, **** i hate them... list, peter we need to toss some ice water on that brady piece of crap, and you know what **** the patriots, spygate right?! yeah **** those guys!! *fist bump* fatties forever!" -Mort.

Albert Breer now desperately trying for another opening against the Pats:

@albertBreer
Also, people need to stop mocking the story/investigation saying it's about "deflated football." It's not. It's about a pattern of behavior.
Yeah, I've been been pissed at Breer's pattern of behavior for many years now. It has however, promoted him from a local hack to a national hack....

Notice how the conversation is changing from "Did the Pats deflate footballs after inspection" (against rules) to "Did Brady know the balls he selected where under inflated" (not even in the rules since they get inspected by refs later)

You can always identify a witch hunt when THIS happens: if you can't find evidence to make a REAL violation stick (Pats a deflated balls AFTER pregame inspection) then find something you CAN prove and say it's sooo immoral that it should be retroactively illegal (Pats submitted under inflated balls for inspection)

The best part is these same clowns would have applauded Peyton for it if he had come out and admitted it before this mess happened. He'd be applauded for taking such attention to detail.

Bottom line for me is documentation, if Walt Anderson did in fact check the footballs then he should have documentation of; Weight, PSI, Time, temp and where, this should be documented, if it is not then there is nothing to discuss anymore. its like a cop giving out a speeding ticket because he "thinks" you might be speeding. For me if there is not a paper trail or documentation then this is all crap. What we dont know yet also, at least I think, is if Walt actually tested the footballs with a gauge and did they actually weight the footballs.

Heard this morning that the equipment manager for the Colts tested the one ball himself, well to me that breaks the chain of custody and of this was court of law it would be thrown out.

Anyway I cant put any faith into the NFL or anyone for that matter if they did not document everything.

this seems to the pattern.
1.Talk crap on tv.
2.Get radio rounds next day
3. make more money and promote your company.

You know, it kills me everytime I hear the word "illegal" used in this circumstance. Really what we're talking about is a potential corporate violation. That's right, this is a corporation imposing it's regulations. This does not involve the judicial system. No one is going to jail. If BB was fined by the corporation he could simply say "screw you, I quit and you ain't gettin' a goddam dime", stuff his checkbook in his back pocket and walk away.

Could the NFL take him to court. Sure, if they want to lose and look like a-holes. No societal laws have been broken. In no way, shape or form is this whole situation "illegal".
