I know I'm speaking prematurely here, but I think the question to ask in light of this recent development is this:

"If Morty has such great league sources, why isn't his story still up on BSPN?"
His story is still up in the Boston section, updated to say that Brady likes his footballs underinflated.
I am learning from all these people, I have to be careful on what I read going forward when it is not about my team or someone I care about. If they use the wrong adjective, you are screwed.

Felger and Mazz are getting close. I think Bertrand being the voice of reason there has been the only one to keep me tuned in.

The thing that really grinds my gears about all these former athletes literally crying about the Pats, and calling them cheaters and all that, is knowing that this sport, the athletes in the league, I want to say at least 85% of them are on some type of illegal PED's. That too is cheating, but they'll never fess up to that. Deflated balls is a much more serious subject than that. At least in their eyes
I bet none of them abused painkillers and pharmaceutical grade anti-inflammatories to get up for matches.

I really didn't mind Kraft working it behind the scenes, but he has to know that with the way ESPN is totally propagandizing against Brady, he has more to worry about with his fanbase.

Kraft is going to lose me here. He really is. I'm shocked that the NFL is dragging this out. I dont want Kraft to say something publicly but he has to push this forward.
I don't think you've got the methodology of Kraft down. He and Bill have been together a long time. There has never been any talk of Kraft firing Bill, even in the midst of the spy stink. They get along well and I believe them to be birds of a feather. They both are very quiet men that rarely speak publicly and when they do, they carefully avoid making inflammatory statements. They both let the facts and results speak for them. But you can believe one thing, Belichick will vent his wrath on the people behind this when the Pats come to town.

ESPN presenters actually announced Brunell as super bowl champion with the saints. Lol. What a loser.

It was laughable to see Brunell talk about it. The man was almost in tears for a second! Stick to bad investments, being poor and having Mark Sanchez wipe his boogers on you, because you're a terrible analyst.

I've heard the quote about Kraft calling BB a schmuck 1000 times, used against the Patriots this week.

The Patriots didn't use the walk through story to their advantage last time

So we are supposed to believe these balls deflated themselves and nobody knows what happened? Listen man I'm a huge homer, but I'm not that ignorant. I love my pats, but it dosnt make me less of a fan to awknowledge that there was foul play here.

Actually, you are ignorant.

Wasn't aware what a hack Morrison is. Let's hope he's wrong here again. If this is truly all ******** I will open up a thread and call myself out. Its just easy to believe that Bill pushed the envelope too far.
It's Mortensen ...Morrison is dirt-napping in Paris with an eternal chubby...lucky bastard...

Just think of all the crying we'll see if the Pats win the SB.

This could be the best win of them all.

what if what he knows is that he set the balls low and the officials never checked them? to me they were calling the league out in those press conferences. i have heard the math behind the difference in air temp but nothing about the contraction of the cheap plastic the bladder is made of. that would affect the ball pressure far more. take a ball put a guage in it and squeeze it and watch what happens to the guage. the league has backed themselves into a corner here. when all is said and done the only ones that are going lose their reputation are some in the
league office, the ravens and colts. and if we are going to win this game we better win by 20. we sure are not going to get any calls from the refs. the seahawks will have a long leash.

All of the ex-players bashing Tom are repeating the same MISINFORMATION over and over and over again.

They keep saying that there is "no way" that he would not be able to tell the difference between an under-inflated football and a normal one.

BUT TOM DID NOT SAY THAT he could not tell the difference between two footballs side-by-side for him to grip and analyze 5 hours before a game, or even two footballs in front of him right now for that matter.

What he ACTUALLY said was that DURING THE GAME ON SUNDAY NIGHT he didn't notice the difference between the 2nd half footballs and the ones that he played with 20 minutes or so earlier, before halftime. Why? HE SAID WHY.

Because in a game he is focused on doing his job, thinking about the plays, the defense and where the pass rushing is coming from, the game plan, etc. Squeezing the ball after the snap to test the feel of the football is just not on his radar at that particular place and time.

It is maddening that they could not even LISTEN.

I can tell you that I have a mild headache right now. If I were delivering a speech right now, though, I'd be thinking about WHAT I WAS DOING, my notes, the time left, my next point, etc. and would not be focusing at all on, or even NOTICING, whether I had a mild headache or not.

Is it really THAT hard to understand?

I myself am peeved with Reiss. When the story gained legs he was quick to jump the gun with everyone else.

No he didn't. He merely said "IF, it's true......" he was always careful to say that nothing was proven.

I have to find it, but once this story broke, Brunell is the guy who said he did not care about air pressure, but rather nothing but the feel of the ball. I will find this. It just shows how my a hypocrite he is, saying how Brady could not feel the pressure difference, while he himself says he did not care.

Actually Brunell was crying because the receptionist at Espn had just come up to tell him someone was outside repossessing his 1987 Plymouth volare

It's not usually a good idea to go on national television and claim someone is lying with no evidence. That's why you don't see the professional reporters do it.
In theory I certainly agree with you. The problem is, now adays name me one "professional reporter".
Cronkite, Huntley and Brinkley aren't walking through that door again anytime soon.

I watched just to see what TB12 had to say, thought he did well with all the extra reporters. Although I did think he was trying to ignore that one Bi@*& who kept trying to shout out a question. Left it on when he was done speaking and when I saw the dirtbags they dredged up after I could hardly stand it... What dark place did BSPN have to look for these losers?!?!?
Once Bettis started to spout garbage, that was it... off and found something else to waste time on

Yeah, Bettis has no problem flashing his referee-aided Super Bowl ring around the shop does he? Hypocritical oaf is hypocritical.
