The Sour Grapes gang, starting with Mark Brunell...

Im just gonna start boy cotting E SPN shows. They seem to only want to put on ex players like Jerome Bettis, Brian Dawkins (2 guys the Pats routinely beat in the playoffs) and Mark Brunell that hate the Patriots and have personal agendas. Good try Brunell BTW, try and make a name for yourself by being a Pats hater. You gotta pay those bills somehow considering you filed for bankruptcy a few years back, you fraud.

Not to mention Michael Wilbon. The Pats should be kicked outta the SB really? What credibility do these guys have?

I'll still read Reiss and Bruschi and follow Schfeter on Twitter, but espn can go fcuk themselves.

NY Post waited until now to put up THIS back page...-in case anyone EVER wondered if these people are total scumbags or not...here you go...

New Yorkers will have better luck playing Power Ball.

I myself am peeved with Reiss. When the story gained legs he was quick to jump the gun with everyone else.

I still can't believe a grown ass man cried on national television over air in a football

ESPN lunatic fringe:

Wilbust, Michael
Kornholer, Tony
Brainless, Skippy
Smithereens, Stephen A.

There's no crying in football, oops I mean baseball.

Striking resemblance to Mark Brunell though.

A lot of people on this board did 2.

Problem is everyone (outside of Pats fans) have already made their own assumptions from an unnamed source. So no matter if the league found no sketchy play to be involved, everyone going to think its Goddell covering up for his buddy. Pats can't/won't win in public opinion. Again all from an unnamed source.

Guilty until proven innocent, and even that won't be enough.....

True it sucks but hopefully sensible folk come around.

If not what matters is that I truly feel the Pats have no guilt. And that makes a big difference than being unsure.

If Morty has such great league sources, why hasn't he gotten the PSIs for the balls when the ref tested them pregame? Oh, wait... maybe the ref didn't actually test them. Without that, we can't ever know if there even was any deflation. It's not the Patriots' responsibility to make sure the balls start with the right air pressure. That is the NFL referee's responsibility. Where's the Mortenson leak on THOSE numbers?

Meh as long as we know Pats are innocent That's all that matters. People will always hate winners

The shame in all this. This is probably the best SB matchup, at least in my generation. And its getting over shadowed by this.

I'm done with Reiss. Screw him.

Most of these guys will not hold themselves accountable unless there's iron clad proof there was no tampering.

Mr Whipple was in charge of "ball testing":

The only place I even see Reiss is on the channel 5 gameday show, right after the segment giving me some schlub's fantasy picks (why I should care about some schlub's fantasy picks, I have no earthy idea). It's not like I'll be missing any great insight if I delete the DVR recording before I hear Reiss make his prediction (why I should care about Reiss' prediction, I have no earthly idea).

I don't do ESPN or SportsHub or WEEI or the local papers. Haven't for years.

I listen to Sports Radio but I might just boycott them, maybe w/the exception of Dale & Holley.

Mortenson just leaked video of the NFL ref inspecting the footballs before the game:

I know I'm speaking prematurely here, but I think the question to ask in light of this recent development is this:

"If Morty has such great league sources, why isn't his story still up on BSPN?"

Felger and Mazz are getting close. I think Bertrand being the voice of reason there has been the only one to keep me tuned in.

The thing that really grinds my gears about all these former athletes literally crying about the Pats, and calling them cheaters and all that, is knowing that this sport, the athletes in the league, I want to say at least 85% of them are on some type of illegal PED's. That too is cheating, but they'll never fess up to that. Deflated balls is a much more serious subject than that. At least in their eyes
