Yeah, well, i told someone today if all it takes to be a dominant franchise is to let some air out of a ball, then they should be effin' pissed at their team for spending millions on coaches and players who can't get it done; when all it took was to hire a $10 an hour ball boy with a little initiative.

ESPN pays Bruschi to make it worth his while. Is it worth your while to put up with that manure?

Also, Reiss? Wimped out and turned colors pretty quick when the going got ugly.

They have interesting stuff for me to read. Why wouldn't I go to their site?

I don't want to get into a pissing contest with you but how can I be anything but ignorant when no official fact has been released about anything. Don't be so quick to judge.

Its all good man no pissing contest, friendly debate. I'm putting stock into the mortenson report. I guess we can hold out hope that his figures are off, but he's a legitimate reporter and I put him up with with Shefter in terms of credibility.

I might be repeating myself, but it has to something do with their complete lack of moral and *ugh "journalistic integrity".

If you find it interesting, good for you. The thread title said "advice", I'm not telling you what to do.

What leads you to conclude that Tedy Bruschi completely lacks moral and journalistic integrity?

For that matter, what leads you to conclude it about Mike Reiss?

So we are supposed to believe these balls deflated themselves and nobody knows what happened? Listen man I'm a huge homer, but I'm not that ignorant. I love my pats, but it dosnt make me less of a fan to awknowledge that there was foul play here.

Pv=nrt. Learn it. Live it.

Tire manufacturers recommend you put air in your tires in winter to keep the pressure where it should be. Why?

It was a 50 degree day. Come on people. Its OK to admit that Billy Bill pulled a fast one. I like the fact that my coach is willing to lie to his mom to win football games. I don't need to hide from it.

Its not their fault New England has handled this poorly. Today was rough. Shoulder shrugs from Bill at 930 and more shoulder shrugs from Tom at 415.

they handled this expertly. They put it back on the NFL to go ahead and prove that N.E. had anything to do with deflating the footballs.

It was 45 at half time and a 30 degree decrease lowers psi by 1.5.

You have to educate yourself a little bit before you call people liars and cheats don't you?

Basically if they let the air out they were idiots for doing so. Mother nature would have done it for them. So they were smart enough to cheat but not smart enough to know 10th grade chemistry.

I'm pretty sure he was using "underweight" as a colloquialism for "underpressure". Unlike many of the media (like the mediots at Brady's presser today), I'm virtually certain Reiss understands the difference between pressure and weight.
But he shouldn't do that. Use the right word, it's this type of sloppy journalism that leads to the general masses ignorantly thinking the Pats were playing with a lighter ball.

Yeah, there's a reason why /r/nfl is my favorite football forum outside of PatsFans, and it's because the crazy people there get downvoted into oblivion. What's left is usually sane people.

The irony here is that you were refering to others as willfully ignorant.

I don't consider cheating to be a huge negative thing like most people on this board do. I'm fine with it if Bill cheats, im down for short cuts.

Actually, they said they did not do anything to the balls. Since this looks like a setup to begin with, could not one of the accusers done a little somethin' somethin'? After all, there's all kinds of preposterous crap that has been spewed about the Patriots. Wonder how any of their glass walls would hold up? Under the circumstances, they did well with their respective lynch mobs.. imho, respectfully...

I'm not sure where the irony is. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but I have an opinion based on the information available to me. If reports are proven false or if new information is presented, I will go from there.

Thanks for taking a respectful position. Quite refreshing. I just have a hard time believing that this is a huge set up that spawned from nowhere. I'd love to be wrong.
