If you checked the balls in the Divisional Game at half-time I guarantee that both teams footballs would have been considered under-inflated. Since when did the league institute a requirement that the pressure in the footballs not change during the course of the game (barring tampering). It is physically impossible for that to be the case unless the outdoor temperature is the same as the temperature of the air used to fill the balls.

That's a good point.

The key - as its always been - is there a plausible explanation for a PSI drop in the Patriots ball. That all depends on the amount. Which nobody other than Mort has reported. That's the piece of information that we need to have been reported incorrectly so we can all go back to business as usual. We may or may not get that information. We don't know enough at this point.

Yep, this confirms that the only real report to this so far is: Rapsheet & Blandino said it on Monday...1 ball was taken out of circulation, the investigation is that ball (NOT the Patriots) and that my friends, is why Brady hasn't been interviewed or anything by the league, because he has nothing to do with it, just like no QB is when it happens every week.

I genuinely believe the NFL & Goodell do not want a trainwreck of a Super Bowl.

I think Goodys lackeys want to pull BB through shards of glass .

I believe that the investigative arm of the NFL office is partially incompetent and paralyzed because they need to understand the PR ramifications before they even breathe.

I believe that they can't understand what any possible consultants are telling them about gas pressure vs temperature. These layabouts haven't even talked to Brady.

That was out a long time ago.

I think the weather knocked them down 1 psi or 1.5 psi. Just like it knocks down car tires 4 or 5 psi. Same phenomenon. Pv=nrt.

Be interesting to know what the half time pressure was.

Per Tom E Curren the NFL is not commenting on details of the review right now.
Why is the NFL not commenting? It's been 4 days. What are they STILL reviewing?

I smell a rat. I have been suspicious about this for a couple of days.
Well Riess had a theory that the nfl thought it wasn't a big deal but the media keeps fanning the flames. Inn other words the nfl was dragging its feet because they thought it was a minor issue, but its now turned into a feeding frenzy

Ron Borges puts the TWIT in twitter.

And yes, this matters. The implication of Kravitz's piece was that Jackson just happened to realize that the ball was under inflated, which puts the bullseye on every Pats' receiver, too. Think about it - the implication is that it was recognizably (to the touch) off, which is a big part of the venom being spewed about brady obviously "lying."

This matters. A lot.
It is a reflection on the state of the media in general and how it appears that it is somehow OK to say anything you want based on speculation rather than fact and why no one trusts the media anymore. The ones that do are walking around with their collective heads up their arses.

Roger Goodell and his team of crack investigators are still struggling with finding the word transparency in the dictionary and having recently discovered it's meaning, they're wondering how being able to shine light through their report will help.

Just the NFL? Everybody is against us. The league, most teams, most fans of other teams, the media, the U.S. Government, etc.

This Super Bowl is truly us against the World.
We are against the armies of Mordor my dear Frodo

I am FINALLY convinced that the NFL is seriously against the Patriots...SERIOUSLY!!
I don`t, its the talking heads who make money from getting attention and the butthurt sore losers who still have sore assholes from losing to the Pats.

When the initial reports came out implicating Jackson as the one who thought the ball was doctored, Kravitz put out a tweet saying Jackson told him that wasn't true. That was back on Monday but conveniently ignored by the rest of the media.

Kim jong un is on our side though, because he loves the stadium soundtrack we play. He only wishes it had more Katy Perry.
