Brady vs The Media

How can anyone say they hate the Jets more than the 2nd rate loser Steeler organization? Honestly, this should be a great reminder of why you are wrong. Ex-Steelers and known Peyton fanboys are leading the most derogatory of this **** on ESPN as far as I can tell.

I expected the sack of sh!t former QB Brunnel to act like that, but Jerome Bettis disappointed me with his tacit agreement. I admit that I make it a point to NOT tune in FESPN, but in this case, I wanted to compare the reactions between them and NFLN, and FESPN lived down to my suspicions. They are bottom-feeding low-lifes, and the only reason I EVER tune in is when the Patriots are playing there. They are known Patriot-haters and pot-stirrering muckers that deserve every bad thing that can happen to that network.

Having said that, my jaw was on the floor at the very sound of Borges, the known plagiarist and liar, calling into question the Patriots reputation and basically calling them out as cheaters. Well, FFS, he would certainly know about cheating!

I'm truly hoping that every single one of the muckrakers calling the Pats cheaters and refusing to wait for the league to rule on this has their press credentials taken away.

Borges and Shagnasty ought to be at the top of that list.

That's unbelievable. How has he lasted this long, sounds like he needs an asskicking tbh

Most folks figure he has paper or photos on some of the Boston newspaper editors. Either that, or the Southie Mob is looking our for him. That's about the only thing that makes any sense.

I wouldn't say this if I didn't believe it.

Tom was awesome.

You could tell this whole thing was draining on him.

But he seemed 100% genuine.

Before his press conference I had my suspicions. Maybe I'm gullible. And I am undoubtedly bias (as are the haters even though they claim otherwise). But I believe him.

I've been lied to enough in my life to feel that he was not lying. Even my non Patriots fans buddies that saw that interview agree he seemed genuine.

I live in NC. I can tell you Pats fans living outside of new england have been taking this on the chin.

I am ready to go and put all my Pats gear on and go to the Mall and walk around arms outstretched giving the universal sign for your number 1. (my wife won't let me)

Agree, and i hope its not too draining on him.

And yes, i have been taking it on the chin, but Titans fans are easy to shut up. Real. Easy.

The reporters are doing the wrong tests. When they say, so and so can tell the difference, they have two balls to compare, and then its easy to tell which one has the lower pressure. The true test needs to give someone a single ball, and ask them is that properly inflated or not.

Brady's eye looks like it's getting better but you can still see the damage.

The media is a friend to no one in the NFL. Belichick knows it. Marshawn Lynch knows it. Woody Johnson should know it. There wasn't even an hour after Belichick's press conference before reporters spun it as Belichick throwing Brady under the bus.

The NFL better speak out today. Friday is a popular time to drop bad news.

Here's an interesting exercise.

Let's pretend it was Aaron Hernandez behind that podium answering questions instead of Tom Brady.

Replace a few key words and it's not very difficult to imagine that a press conference with Hernandez might have gone exactly the same way with many of the same questions and much the same style of asking them.

Not to mention they should probably do this while taking a hike form under center and having 3-6 people rushing them to put them on the ground.

And where is anyone taking a balanced look at this? While I would think Brady could tell the difference if a ball was properly inflated or not, but have no idea what the difference would be like (and who am I to argue with 2 HOF QBs).

The outrage over this is just way too much...from non NFL sources.

They're the ones whose butts are aching the most from being spanked by the Pats. A good cry will do them some good.
