Schefter: NFL Having a Hard Time Finding Evidence of Tampering

Harbaugh is not invovled IMO (well. my guess) - the team Owner is. It's weird considering all the help Kraft gave to Baltimore in the Ray Rice thing.

Kraft helped Goodell, but not necessarily Bisciotti. In a way Bisciotti was hung out to dry.

Not too mention Belichick helping Harbaugh get his job.

Amazing how these ingrate motherf.ckers screw Belichick after he gives them the help to get to the top of their profession.

I've aways had a lot of trouble believing a linebacker could feel ball deflation - that sounds ridiculous. Unless both Luck/Flacco keep theirs pumped way up, which could be true since they are slingers like Rodgers who might want the extra air. Question is, how would Balt/Indy know we keep it at the minimum otherwise? Anybody from our organization now in theirs, player or offensive coach-wise? Not that I can think of.

Or: is Glazer just FOS. Let's go with that.

Dean Pees... Now defensive coordinator for the ravens. Saw once that us not re-signing him was as close to a firing that BB ever had. Maybe there's residual butt-hurt over that... Also have former players. Vinatieri and durius butler come to mind

Things are looking up but I don't like how quiet the NFL is right now.

It's best to be proactive and not come out and say, 'I told you so' but it's the Patriots doing all the talking- no one else.

That's Pats are playing this thing perfectly and the media is pissed. I love it.

I've gone from being bummed out back to embracing the hate.

Bring on the tears!! The delicious, delicious tears!!

I wouldn't worry. That's just the way this thing has been mapped out behind closed doors between Kraft and Goodell. This will be wrapped by tomorrow at this time. Bank it.

They are waiting for Brady to speak.

After that then the attacks will start again picking apart each thing the say. Maybe by tonight/tomorrow the NFL will speak.

Sideline espionage? Scientific analysis? Conflicting reports? Possible conspiracy?

If the Pope gets involved at all, we're watching the next Dan Brown novel play out in front of our eyes, only less ****ty.

Good thoughts - but I can't see any of those guys having that knowledge. Pees on the defensive side of the ball. Butler seems like an idiot, and Adam V would only care about the kicking balls...

BTW - has anyone other than Mort confirmed the 2 lbs under report?
nope, not as far as i know. everyone ran with his info the same way they did with Douche Kravitz

Actually, they did.

If you watched BB's presser today versus September 2007, you would understand the difference.

I agree, with the one note that I think nobody should ever used the word "shocked" in that kind of situation. It immediately brings the Claude Rains line to mind.

I heard someone mention that this isn't even in the rulebooks - its in the game operations book. Do players have a responsibility to know that as well?

Don't forget Ozzie Newsome who has BB to thank for a NFL job.

why do i have this feeling that brady will get suspended? seems like the media wants this to happen now.
btw troy aikman is a ****ing jackass.

That just happened in the past few hours.

Before that, it was 72 hours of the rest of the world talking and no Patriots saying a word. (probably due to they were off for a couple of days).

If they pin it on the Pats they better have a smoking gun. Belichick basically dared the NFL to call him a liar

Ignore the mediots. Bottom line is IF we are pretty much cleared that's what matters and they can go F off. But we are certainly not off the hook yet.

It almost feels like it was the Pats PR strategy to let the media punch itself out the first couple days, and now that they are sagging, BB & TB come in with the knockout punch, make it all look like much ado about nothing (supported by NFL investigation that found no tampering) and DOWN GOES MORTENSON! DOWN GOES MORTENSON!
