Where do you check? 14 years and expecting nothing this year. I didn't get an email.

Just checked the lottery and I lost....... (30+ year season ticket hoder).
I am fine with not winning, but I would just like to know where the tickets go.
How many go to the real fans (the blue seats).

.

30 years and not picked? wow. And is it true red seats automatically get to go?

Imagine all that money spent and then losing.....crazy.
That is the risk you take. High risk, but high reward. Nothing beats being there when they win it. And nothing sucks more than being there when they lose it.

Yep. I spent $230 to go to the Penguins-Bruins game 3 two years ago in the run to the cup double OT(near triple) win. Simply amazing. People on the streets were going nuts. Buddy spent about same amount to see them lose 1-0 to the red wings. Sucks to suck I guess. Have you been there for all 5 of Brady's? I think you've mentioned you been to a few.

All but the first one in New Orleans. Looks like I'll be missing this one coming up, but at least I was there for two victorious Super Bowls. I will admit that losing them is worse than winning them is good -- especially since you've got fans for the other team all around in equal numbers.

I have flights and hotel lined up, just need two tickets. If anyone won the lottery and wants to sell I'd take them in a heartbeat. Might have to buy tickets last minute to avoid paying the premium pricing that is out there now.

Yes.... all of the pink seats (Club seat owners) automaticly get Superbowl tickets.

i wish i had the $$ to do this. i really do. at least i got to go to the last 2

21 years, never won the lottery.

Tix will be much cheaper come a few days before..so say 1500 per ticket..maybe less. 3K plus flight and hotel. Not 8-10K IMO

I was considering going in'11. I ended up staying home but I watched the ticket prices on Stubhub all day on Super Sunday. Stubhub stopped selling tickets 30 minutes before kickoff. You could buy them on your phone and then go to a tent stubhub had setup outside the stadium and pick up your tickets. Tickets in the 200 levels dropped to $850 right before they stopped selling. The same ticket opened up that morning at $2000. Don't believe the crap about buying tickets early....the price will go up etc... there were a ton of tickets available and most were under $1000 just prior to stubhub turning off sales.

Interesting information. But here's the problem with taking that approach to attending the game: You pay an extra price in anxiety knowing up 'til the last possible moment that you're not guaranteed of getting in. Also, a big part of the Super Bowl experience is entering the stadium compound at least a couple hours before kickoff so you can experience all the exhibits, activities, sights and sounds that make the event so special. The Super Bowl is much more than the game itself, it's the Disney World of football. For that reason I personally wouldn't fly all the way across the country without a ticket already in hand.

I have the same question, didnt' get an email and logging into my ticket account count doesnt' show anything. How are people checking?

Preach it brother. I have done this a few times for regular season games, big games, but nothing compared to this. And every time, I can't enjoy anything until I actually have purchased. Even though every ounce of my being knows I'm going one way or another, the stress and anxiety is still there. The SB must multiply that 100 fold. One Stubhub server glitch and you're screwed.

That's why I'm probably not going. The low of losing is SOOOOOOOOO low.

You're halfway there.

Sorry, I'm totally kidding! I just couldn't resist.

It's all good because you are absolutely right. Jeez, I've been terrible on the keyboard lately. It's almost like the Super Bowl has me so 'giddy' that I've got scatterbrain and the words just aren't flowing properly.

But well played my friend.

I just called the Patriots Ticket office. Apparently emails were sent out to the lottery winners only. I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed as to the lack of communication.

My buddy and his brother won this time. First time since Bears SB, I believe.

Interesting, I didn't get any emails (no surprise there), but no notification when I log in either, which is weird because I know some people definitely saw a message they didn't win the lottery when logging in.

I've never won. Only had my seats since 1995-96.

I think that if you have 4 club level seats you are guaranteed a pair of tickets to Super Bowl if Patriots are playing. I think that is one of the benefits of the club seats that they advertise. So, not all 4 could go, but you would get a pair of tickets.

I don't think the allotment to the Season Ticket Holder lottery is that high. A lot of tickets go to corporate sponsors, players, employees of the team, and the club seats which are usually corporate tickets.

Maybe next time.
