I'm still waiting on the final report. This whole ****storm is a great example of why the 24 news cycle absolutely sucks.

I agree sort of. Unless the Pats are fighting this behind the scenes I am disgusted by Kraft's lack of response. The franchise continues to be dragged thru the mud and it gets worse by the hour. The fans are the ones trying to defend the franchise and he isn't.
What would you like him to be doing right now?

I really could care less what other fans think of this. If this comes out to be true I'll be disappointed for whoever was responsible , but even then it wasn't a big deal considering other people have come out and said they've done this before. A slight increase in the air of the ball wouldn't have made up for a 38 point difference. What I'm most worried about is how it affects the team in its preparation for the upcoming Superbowl. They don't need any distractions right now. I hope this just motivates them even more.

I just don't get when they could have done this? Someone would have seen something. Pats are innocent! INNOCENT!

Deflatetriots Ball-Boy

Ive become obsessed with deflategate. Waiting for the white bronco flying down the interstate with BB driving. Or would Brady be driving? Anyway, its high drama at its best.

Although, i am catching all kinds of hell down here....and surprisingly, not from the Titans fans. They could care less, they have bigger issues.

12th ball was given to a fan by Blount after the TD

That and people stressing out over this and losing sleep.

What people don't realize is the more they click on all these articles (mostly negative articles), the more these websites will produce said articles.

If people don't like all the negativity, stop clicking on all these articles. Otherwise, don't take it too seriously.

Sounds good in theory, but I'm guessing the media attn would still continue just fine without that (roughly) 5 percent of the NFL's fan base reading the articles.

I was hoping that the report would be out by the time I woke up. Guess not.

Not sure how to handle this as a fan if it all is indeed true. I'll be watching the Super Bowl (which btw is a must win. a loss would totally destroy us). But beyond that I feel sick.

Deflating balls is totally unnecessary. We destroyed this team anyhow. It doesn't matter if the deflated balls had no effect. If it was cheating, it's cheating. The result doesn't matter.

I'd be shocked if BB were dumb enough to risk the team brand vs. a potential small gain yet again.

why does this thread feel like an in-game, Pats down 14 early, Chicken Little thread?

Because we're dealing with adversity, and that tends to bring out the extremists from both sides of the spectrum... When we're winning, all is well.. But right now, we're "losing" in the court of public opinion.

Was it still 50 degrees at half-time? I don't think it was.

The high for the game was 51 degrees. The low for the game was between 46-47 degrees, and that obviously occurred at the end.

There really doesn't seem to be much temp change here, unfortunately.

I'm still waiting on the final report. This whole ****storm is a great example of why the 24 news cycle absolutely sucks.

I think the leak to Mortensen is intended to make pats squirm because of public opinion backlash- I don't think they have any hard evidence so the delay in official news is intended to punish pats indirectly.

This whole thing is an Indy ****/jealousy thing to make sure the Pats get screwed. Just like the 2003/4 lose Indy had to screw the pats. They say the softer balls were done because of the rain, but they noticed it in Indy - in an indoor stadium.

why does this thread feel like an in-game, Pats down 14 early, Chicken Little thread?

Because we obviously have too many 'chicken little" fans Horace. Maybe they're "kitten littles"? :D
