Of course I'd like to win. In fact, anything else would be depressing and unacceptable even suicidal.

It would also be a resounding '**** YOU' to the NFL and the ****ing ***** ass Colts. I can't wait to blow them out AGAIN next year for f*cks sakes

This alone, if it results in anything more than a fine, will vault the Colts up to 1b on my s*** list, just after the JEST.

This story is just discouraging.

I've always been in BB's camp. I believe the 2007 issue was overblown, as is this one. But, I'm still very very frustrated. I don't want the team to lose any more picks. Nor do I want to have the players waste time with this issue.

I would love to read about the SB. Watch some SB preview shows. I don't want to hear about football pressure. I'm just so tired of all of this. With winning, comes the haters. But - if it goes all the way to BB - I am frustrated he is giving the haters fuel.

Maybe I'm not in the majority, but I am just tired of this type of story, especially if it goes down in an unfavourable way.

How the Super Bowl will start.. in this video the Patriots are played by Tony Montana, those at the door are the media and haters from the other teams.

And La Canfora was a former NFL Network reporter. Hopefully he still has connections to the Shield that are pushing that line of thinking.

The most interesting part of the interview is with the former patriot who claimed Brady never altered balls and never wanted anyone else to do it.

Just when the Colts were sliding down my hate list too. Looks like they'll always be near the top as long as that pill-popping ****bag owns the team.

DeflateGate cookies are currently being made at a local Boston Common Coffee Shop for a dollar each. Seriously.

Yeh my thoughts exactly but with Mort reporting it? I dont care for Mort but Im not sure I can find a time when he was wrong lately. But nothing headlining NFL.COM. Would the NFL or an insider really tell Mort something that the know might come back as 100% inaccurate?
I don't have examples but my impression of Mort is that he consistently exaggerates his inside stories.
Its not a matter of being 100% wrong. But it is a matter of possibly getting the information second or third hand. The fact that all of the balls were 2 psi under has been rereported over and over, and I don't trust he has the measurements, and that may be a short hand answer which would change perception. What if 11 of 12 were under but only 1 or 2 actually -2 (as in 'as much as 2 psi gets reported as 2 psi) just to give a possible example.
Just saying if it came from Shefter I would believe he investigated it. From Mort, I see it like he passed on what his buddy said, and something is often lost in the translation.

Let's also not forget Mort despises BB so there could be slant too.

Brady's awesomeness just deflates the footballs when he touches them. Yes, he is that damn good.

The interview in the Jason LaCanfora with a former pats employee is very revealing that pats never do this to practice in in rain or inclement weather. BB actuals squirts water on the ball during the practice to simulate game time conditions .

if the pats are guilty.. fine punish them.. but i expect to see rodgers and eli manning, vikings and panthers punished as well

Don't hold your breath. We saw the same kind of examples from others with spy gate and no one else was punished.

The other teams were warned this year about keeping their balls in front of a heater. Not only are they not going to be punished, but this scenario is night/day different if the suggestion that the balls were purposely deflated holds true.

It's a nightmare for sure.

So at halftime the balls are stored in the Officials locker. So the only time the Pats could deflate them would be on the sidelines.... seems very risky. especially if the colts say they used deflated balls in Indy. So if it was done it had to be the ball boys( with orders from whoever) . Cant be that hard to get vid evidence with so many cameras .

Yeh I kinda agree, at least what Im hoping for, but if it is true man Ill tell ya I dont know how Ill feel about it yet. I think it is very interesting that guy like Shefter or NFL.com have not really commented on it.

Is it possible the refs just made a mistake when they initially weighed them? How could 11 of them be wrong? 11? If doctored the Pats would do 3-4 maybe not 11? Something is rotten in the NFL.

Let's see

Between eldleman, gronk and Amendola I counted 5 dropped passes with the ball HITTING their hands.

You tell me how the air affected the ability to catch.

I'm actually starting to wonder if the reason for the delay is that the Patriots are fighting back and not simply Accepting the NFL's position on this. It could be that the NFL is saying the football's alone Are proof and the Patriots in the absence of any guilty party within the organization are saying there was no wrongdoing and aren't going to accept anything more than a warning or minimal fine. If the Vikes got a warning then that's the most the Patriots should receive,.and they should threaten legal action if they get more than that.

That could be wishful thinking but for some reason I don't see the Krafts letting them ruin this season And their reputation over this.

It will ruin more than this season, Kraft's franchise could lose a lot of it's fans if he doesn't fight this. Personally, after all we fans had to take from Spygate, I'm not much in a forgiving mood.

Bob, if you aren't going to stand up for your fans I'm done with you!

If Pats staff had nothing to do with this it would be Defamation in the highest order.

What happened to that 12th ball? What happened to "do your job?" Need to find a more reliable ball boy this offseason.

I agree sort of. Unless the Pats are fighting this behind the scenes I am disgusted by Kraft's lack of response. The franchise continues to be dragged thru the mud and it gets worse by the hour. The fans are the ones trying to defend the franchise and he isn't.
