Well, that is true. Might as well win it as not. What isn't going to be great is watching the game (no pre game stuff and basically a total media blackout except here at Patsfans which is what I will have to do to avoid this nonsense and worse, incessant questions about it from my 8 year old "DID WE CHEAT, MOM? HUH? THAT GUY SAYS WE DID!") and then being absolutely unable to even smile about it the next day without someone jeering at you if you dare to wear a jersey (or a hoodie, in my case). I'm not in the mood to trash talk with a bunch of people who should just be giving you props, if only for a day. I'm definitely not in the mood to have my kid be targeted, as he wears his Pats gear everywhere and likes to talk about "crushing" the opponent, as 8 year olds are wont to do. So I get to watch the game, say yay with my family, go to bed and carry on with life while possibly waiting for sanctions to be handed down to my team who just won. Whoo! What a fan experience the NFL has provided me with! Total isolation with my TV and a mute button!

But not to be a spoil sport for all the silliness being thrown about here, so let me keep it going! I must confess to cheating on a higher level then "Deflategate". I drove 65 in a 55 today to get to work on time. My manager found out and has launched in an investigation. The whole company is a buzz wanting me sanctioned or fired for 'cheating', a few have eben suggested I give back all my pay. More details to follow as the investigation unfolds....

Strange thing I've noticed on this board is that our male members are more obsessed with rumors & accusations than our female members.

"Oh!! Did you guys hear this one?!" pout!

"OMG!!! If Belichick is responsible, he needs to go!" pout!

For the love of God, calm down! and please don't pass on irrelevant rumors like you want to be the first to post the news! But my guess is that we have obsessed fans trying to do their own investigative reporting.

We're adults here...we're not children (at least 99.9% of us). So let's start acting that way....

We get the same satisfaction we would as if nothing happened... because basically, nothing has happened.

I don't feel any different about the upcoming SB game....I am frikkn PUMPED!!

Why wouldn't you get anything out of victory? I ask because the slanted opinions of opposing fans means absolutely nothing to me. Especially when I know they're sick & tired of this Patriots' reign!

I absolutely hate this. This was supposed to be a great week for Patriot and Seahawks fan. Two weeks of SB hype and anticipation , but instead we have this non -story. I don't know if I am more mad at the media or the Patriots organisation for keeping their mouths shut. They should make a statement and make it known that they will fight to get their reputation back!! If Robert Kraft won't then maybe he should hand over the team to Jonathan and let him speak up.
I am with the few fans that believe they won't be able to enjoy a victory now as much as they would like to. After we beat the Colts, I was on such a high and went to bed feeling great and then I woke up to this nonsense. I am tired of everyone throwing mud at the Patriots every chance they get. Why is our marketing guy 'Stacy' not making a statement of some sort?
All I hope for now is that the Patriots win the SB by the biggest margin ever!!! Lets see what cheating crap they try to spin on that. Way to go you f'ing media, you all really know how to 'deflate' us fans ( pun intended)!!

The Patriots have to keep their mouths shut until the investigation is finished. After that, I HOPE that Kraft takes the podium and blasts the media but I doubt it will happen. Much like Spygate, we will hear about this crap for years to come. When is the last time you heard about Bountygate? Want to know why? Because the Saints came out swinging and didn't just take it in the ass like Krafty did with Spygate.
