Will There Be Backlash on Irsay and/or Pagano?

All I know is that next year when these two teams play the Pats aren't going to let up like they did this year. The final score will be something like 66-3 followed by the talking head's, heads exploding.

Wishful thinking.
Well if the coaches think this is an overblown non issue and are angry that this has become news I would think someone on the Colts will be perceived as a wretched rat.

When every QB has to play with NFL provided footballs, lots of QBs will be most unhappy.

Better solution is for the NFL to maintain chain of custody from the moment they receive the footballs. From what I gather, they give them back to the teams after inspecting them...I could have found a flaw in that logic within 2 seconds of hearing it (on one of my slower days).

Not by the media or the NFL fanbases. They'll be lauded for catching the dirty, cheating Patriots.
To be fair. A lot of people in media, national as well as local, has said that this is a non issue and that it didn't help the Patriots win.

Backlash? The rest of the league is relishing this story. Why wouldn't they?

Of course they will. Not only are they a bunch of cry baby *****es, but Pagano has proved to be a poor coach on the field and off. This move will cause the NFL to redo the rules on ball handling, and all teams that try to groom the balls to fit their QB's wants are screwed.

That is not the word coming out of the coaches at the senior bowl.

the colts ownership took a dump on the rest of the nfl by complaining about this. Irsay must feel REAL confident in that glass house he resides in because EVERY single team that plays them is going to be throwing stones.

Just like the Jets with Spygate, they will be considered victims if anything.

I was on a plane today and was forced to watch a bit of Mike Francesa. He is demanding the league to suspend Belichick for a year and Pats give the Colts their first round pick. I know Francesa hates Belichick, but that is the national thinking.

I wonder if that's why the Pats threw deep late in the game with the outcome already decided.

Just hope we blow Seattle out.

Cover story on the Huffington Post. And look at the results of the poll at the bottom of the article.

Sure, some parts of the media doesn't like us. But just because Huff post hates us it doesn't mean that all parts of the media hates us, or that they think that this is a big issue. A bunch of people in national and local media has basically laughed at this whole thing as they think it's a non issue. Those media members don't just dissappear because you found a Huff Post story.

People need to stop claiming that every part of the media hates the Patriots. Some do. But a lot of the media don't.
