Already has, triumph and Patradomous and others have been back in force this week

I suppose all that's missing if for Mr "7-9" to return to this board and for there to be an influx of new posters complaining about how BB has violated the integrity of the league...........

I hope that this whole hoopla at least gets wrapped up by the week's end, and I hope our boys go Plainview on the Hawks come February 1.

Good thing I could care less what others think of the Pats...Just Win Baby...all I care about.

Man, I wish I could stick to my own advice and not let it get to me. But damn, id be lying if I said this wasn't bumming me out big time. Every ticking minute that goes by without a statement from the league or team just seems to make this thing grow bigger and more damning (justly or not).

All this over a air being below the minimum of a football against a team we blew out Jesus....
Agree. Half of me laughs at this, the other half wants to scream.

The silence from the NFL and this waiting game is killing me.

@bbrowner27: For my 2cents Blount scored 3 rushing touchdowns. He could've carried a beach ball. Also doesn't hurt we only gave up 7 points #inflatethis

Wow. Is this really happening? Spygate the sequel. For the first time in a long time I was looking forward to 2 weeks of watching some good analysi of the SB that was between my team against a non Manning team but hey - I guess that wasn't meant to be and these two weeks are taken up in the apparently biggest scandal to hit the sport since.....oh yeah - CameraGate! I am literally in tears.

If they could be silent without all these ****ing leaks it would be nice.

There's going to be 10,000 memes of the NFL logo with "balls" attatched to it. The league is headed down a road to a huge enbaressment. This will do nothing but add "ball" jokes to every comedians repetoire for the next decade.

then they will also have to do something about Rodgers who readily admits to having his balls tampered with, and should they also strip Johnson of the SB37 win because he bribed people to have the balls tampered with? These are issues that representatives for the team will raise when appealing.

"They do it, too" never proved a valid excuse for Spygate, not that the Patriots tried to play that card. Barring a huge unforeseen change in the basic facts we understand (still possible), we're basically boned. We will be the sacrificial lambs once again.

im trying to learn too.. ive started to embrace the hate but this hurts because all i want to do is celebrate this week and be happy

Ok, for the hell of it.

Assume the worst: it's determined the Patriots let air out of the balls, somehow, between the official measurement and game time. Goodell, through unparalleled deductive skills, decides either one Bill Belichick or Tom Brady should be held accountable.

Who would you rather NOT be suspended for the Super Bowl (and yes, I realize even now it's unlikely a SB suspension would happen)?

As fans, we always deal with that moron question, who is more responsible for the success of the Patriots, Brady or Belichick. It's stupid. Yet sitting here, in all this ludicrousness, it occurs to me that with one game on the line, I'd much rather lose BB than TB. With Brady there you know we still have a shot. Without Brady? Jimmy G against the Legion of Boom? Oh dear.

Stupid, pointless, but so is all of this.

So much BS still going around.. each ball was exact 2lbs less then before .. really ? exact?? that is pretty amazing. Are you trying to tell me that A) Brady has an exact PSI he needs to perform? that somehow someone let the air out unnoticed and did that either with the right tool (no that is not suspicious at all) or was just really good in estimating 2psi difference? (quite a feat) all without anyone noticing ?

If it is common practice , as evidence has not clearly shown in the form of literally other coaches and players stating this, for each team to condition their footballs. Then it is not illogical to assume Pats had their ball softer and Colts had their ball harder to accommodate their respective QB.
Reduce over the time of play , pats would be off and colts would still be within value. If this is not what was the case show me the log books for each football, with serial number and starting psi and final psi at end of the game.

Tell you what if the pats did find some sort of scheme , then I must know how they did this.. I must know it would be like knowing the secret of a cool magic trick or how they escaped from Alcatraz or something.

The goal posts to the argument keep moving each time someone as a counter argument so often, it is impossible to put anything in perspective.
Hurry up NFL!

Lol, just IMAGINE if they suspended Brady for the SB.
