Greg Doyel is the worst of the media trolls. What a moron.

Spent all week chest thumping telling everyone how the Colts will win easily.
Monday he prints an article essentially calling Pagano a moron
Now wants said moron to coach in the Super Bowl after getting embarrassed in the Championship game

You guys over that side of the pond really do have an awful media.

They said 2-3 days less than 24 hrs ago, on Tuesday afternoon--at least according to Troy Vincent.
Oops thanks for the correction so we are looking at Thursday or Friday?

You mean the same Parcels who was openly applauded for, opening the end zone doors when opponents were going that direction? Or did you mean to say Pollian, who turned up the heat inside the dome to screw with a cold weather team in a playoff game? I mean that only cost the patriots a SB so it really wasn't a big deal.

Kind of OT, but I had no idea about this.

But when two buddies play each other, well, that is where a coaching friendship gets dicey. Coughlin knows all of Parcells' tricks, and Parcells knows Coughlin well. In fact, Coughlin remembered how the wind increases at Giants Stadium after a gate under the tunnel near the west end zone is lifted. When Coughlin was coaching in New York, and an opponent would try a field goal, that door would mysteriously find its way open, increasing the vortex of wind.

"I'll be looking for that one," Coughlin said with a smile.

Can you imagine any team doing such a thing in 2014? They should get murdered by the media much worse than with this ridiculous DeflateGate.

It would be GateGate.

Your guess is as good as mine. I just wanted to point out that it probably won't be as early as tonight. I think we're looking at tomorrow or Friday--but who knows?

I read his WEEI interview. Downright disgusting that these guys get airtime and are columnists. Says BB should thrown out for good and Packers should go to the SB instead of the pats who 'rigged' the game.
Does he know that the Super Bowl is generally played between an AFC and a NFC team?

Packers had their shot

He's going through a bad divorce.

Thats actually very believable with how idiotic this guy has been starting the the buildup to the game and now this.

......as opposed to The News of the World.:eek:

Bill Polian on SportCenter is the only rational person I've heard so far. Claiming that speculation without any evidence is "dangerous" and he refused to play the "if" game with them. Too bad it's too late for that.

It doesn't matter what anyones says until the NFL comes down with a ruling. But Im going to say this, Im very disappointed in my team if this is true, I may not be able to come back from this one.

But they better test the balls from the Colts sideline also, to not do this would be gross incompetence yet no one in the media talks about it. There are certainly reasons the balls can lose pressure, not sure if it can really happen in 3 hours or not. I still don't understand how this went unnoticed during the game and I promise if a referee made a mistake I promise in no way will the NFL ever admit that.

Polian...of all people...Blame it on NFL for leaking info which starts the fire.

My point exactly, lol.

It would be GateGate.

Only if it was the Patriots. When other teams do shenanigans like this (vikings heating balls, aaron rodgers over inflating them etc), it gets swept under the rug.

You can be sure that as the accusers, even if the Colts were deflating their balls, they sure as hell would've had them pumped back up at halftime when re-measured. Could be Luck likes them bursting like Rodgers does.

It sounds like this is common practice and the Pats are going to taken to the woodshed for being ratted out on it. Sound familiar?

Ok....maybe we can settle some of this here....can someone with a leather football inflate it indoors to 12.5 psi and then drench it with water and put in in the fridge for 4 hours and then measure the aftermath? Video the process and post here. I think it could help all of us. I have 2 girls so I only have Barbies and Frozen dolls. Some one do this!

So Bill Polian, Mike Florio and John Harbaugh are our saviors today.

No words.

What remains interesting is that NFL.com has still yet to report on this new report.

I feel like if this were to be all on the Patriots for deliberately doing this, they would allow the reports to at least be posted. I feel like the fact that nothing has been posted might mean it is more of a potential league issue than anything. But who knows..
