WEEI has some "insider" on talking about a conversation with a ball boy. They inflated the balls at half time and during the whole second half, there were NFL officials sticking to the side of the ballboys.

I think the ball boy was Bartman!

This is not good news at all.

If they fine the pats for this I accept it as fair punishment, like overspeeding. Anything more which is what I expect with goodell now using this to get in good graces with the media, is purely because of hating the pats.

@SportsCenter: UPDATE: League sources confirm footballs were properly inspected & approved by ref 2 hours and 15 minutes before kickoff. (via @mortreport)

Brady and Josh hoisting #4 together,
Plot twist

CAN THEY PLEASE WEIGH THE COLTS FOOTBALLS?

This is not good news at all.
Sure it is. It means the second half was played with correct balls, we kicked their butts and Brady was better than in the first half. He actually had a bad first half which makes you wonder if they were accidently under inflated to his detriment although I can't logically explain how that could have happened.

So let me see if I've got this right . . .

The balls were supposedly properly inflated when the refs measured them before the game, but they were somehow deflated before halftime.

Simultaneously, the same referees who measured the balls before the game did not notice that the balls had become underinflated, but the Colts did?

Oh good, mediots are calling for BB to be fired, Suspended from the superbowl, and blackballed from the NFL Pete rose style for life.

A lot of Patriots 'fans' running with the TMZSPN narratives in here. Either you aren't a fan or you care wayyy to much about 'public perception'.

I will enjoy it just as much........they can all suck it

It's just so frustrating... this season was shaping up to be so epic, a shot at redemption and a big middle finger to all the haters that said "they haven't won anything since Spygate blah blah blah I'm a ****ing loser blah blah"

Now in the 2 weeks leading up to the big game, where I was looking forward to getting overloaded with media coverage and analyzing the matchups, etc that this game will present, instead I'll have to turn off every ****ing sports news show, every radio show and not read any football articles because this is going to be blasted in our faces for the next 2 weeks and beyond.

Kraft needs to do something, he needs to use all of his resources to fight back and tell all of these sensationalizing jealous pieces of **** to go **** themselves straight to hell.

And the Pats better win this damn game! The humiliation of another defeat after this will just suck the wind right out of the sails..

They HAVE to win this game!

They were fine before the game, they weren't fine at HT.

Yeah, the weather/number of 18 man pile ups in the first half had no effect sure....

No the fact that the refs stuck to the ball boy like glue at halftime means that the refs suspected the balls were deflated in the first half.

Sadly, the commish will do some sort of this.

Ok, so they were tested 2 hours and 15 minutes before the game. Then, presumably, they were outside during warmups and for the first half of the game. That would mean they were in the "elements" for about 4 hours? Is that enough time to lose compression? And if they were tested at halftime, I assume it takes time for them to warm back up when inside?
