I would hope they also impounded the Colts' balls and checked them. We need a comparison

If someone just deflated them in game then it feels like the 11 would be all different weights.... would be hard to keep them all the same....
Ugh. The league is "distraught." At least according to ESPN:

I just hope the NFL doesn't go crazy and do something extreme like force the pats to forfeit.
Whoever on the Pats is responsible for this should probably lose his/hers job if this was done knowingly.

presumption now is Pats deflated footballs after inspection. We'll see if that's what's alleged or if officials didn't inspect well
No.I'm sure it's been mentioned before but... how would this have given any advantage to the Patriots and not the Colts? Didn't they all play with the same footballs?
Including the nfl is angry and distraught ?So far, I'm fine with everything that has been released...
They each bring their own balls.I'm sure it's been mentioned before but... how would this have given any advantage to the Patriots and not the Colts? Didn't they all play with the same footballs?
It comes down to if someone with the Patriots talks. If no-one does then it's he said, he said on whether they were checked correctly by the refs, etc.It means that the officials approved the balls before the game without properly checking them or this is the result of wear and tear.
