I agree, I used to hate Collinsworth stating the obvious every few seconds, he's changed and its really for the better. Can't find many negatives about Michaels either.

I used to love Simms and Nantz but over this season especially they've become nearly as bad as Buck and Aikmen.

Sunday Night games have become really special.

Gruden and Tirico (ESPN) are a lot more enthusiastic and insightful than guys on Fox like Buck/Aikman


NBC is still my favorite though

I think Collinsworth is great these days. Totally agree with those that they he used to be annoying but now is very insightful.

So many fans think all commentators hate their teams. Grow up, people.

Respect. I'm not talking about the scripted part. Collinsworth's part was not scripted. That was just him running his mouth. Listen to it again if you have a chance to.

Well we get to listen to Al Michaels maybe we will be getting another "Do you believe in miracles" call. But yes I am happy NBC has the game they usually do a good job.

I miss the days when the Hawks were in the AFC and NBC covered the conference while CBS had Madden and Summerall. I guess I miss Summerall most.

But now it is all jacked up. When I watch CBS it is like Lawrence Welk started hosting football.

I don't know if it is Jim N, but one of them always says "separation.." before calling pass. It kind of gets old.

Collinsworth and Michaels are the best color coms in the NFL right now so it will be a fun SB

i like Michaels-Collinsworth too but i still prefere CBS over all the others

i also love the CBS 'jingle music' theme song a lot expecially Nfl First On The Field part

I actually find Nantz and Simms pretty inoffensive. Collinsworth gets on my nerves with his lack of any actual analysis. Whenever something exciting happens he just does his laugh and says something inane and pointless like "[dumb laugh] Oh my. These Patriots. Ain't they just something. You just never know what they're gonna bring [/dumb laugh]."
I think Simms does a better job of breaking plays down and explaining the mechanics of the game.
