How does BB play the Seahawks Offense?

Ninkovich and Jones are the keys to me. I have faith that a couple of bigguns can limit Lynch, but we need to be able to pressure Wilson without breaking contain. Nink did a really good job of this against Luck, so I hope he can do it against Wilson too.

I think we have the defense to shut down Seattle...or at least prevent them from going off. It really comes down to stopping Lynch and containing Wilson (obviously covering well too), which pretty much everyone here already mentioned

In my eyes, it comes down to how we perform against their D. Because I feel confident we won't allow Seattle to run all over us. But we'll see. Going to take a great effort to beat them but imagine how rewarding it will be if we knock off the defending champs?

How effective is your defense against the Read Option?
As soon as seattle used the read option in the 4th qtr it was all down hill for greenbays defense.

The read option, and the read option pass are part of Seattle's most effective plays.
We were the first NFL defense to figure out the read option. (Tebow)

Belichick defenses, even the bad ones, tend to stop offenses that do one thing really well. In that regard, I'm glad we got Seattle (I'm not glad overall for obvious reasons). The QB's who like to run don't typically gouge us. There will be a few leaks because players make plays, but BB should have this side covered.

I sometimes worry going into games about Revis taking anyone short of an elite WR lightly, but I don't think we have to worry about anything but Revis Island showing up for this one.

Contain rush like GB and make Wilson throw over 6'6 Branch 6'5 C Jones 6'2 but huge VW. Wilson has trouble when he doesn't have lanes opened up to throw. Get a muddy pocket and contain him there. He will make mistakes

This could work. I noticed that Luck has a lot of batted balls on Sunday. I think mostly by Nink.

I would not be surprised to see the Patriots play a lot of zone for this game.

I think you are right. That is a good way to keep Wilson in the pocket.

Any chance BB drops Jones a bit and uses him as a spy to play the read option? We do that with Ninko, but Jones might have the speed to keep up with Wilson
